Liviana's POV
I found Conrad lying on the floor in his human form. Alexander defeated him after their long fight. He's full of wounds all over his body, and he barely opens his eyes. His breathing is unstable, but I'm sure he can still speak in his condition.
"Set ourselves free, Conrad." I said as I stare at him. "Let go and have freedom." I said. He opens his eyes, and his gaze darted on me. "It's the best thing to do since we came this far." I looked at him intently without expressing any emotions. "I, Liviana, reject you, Conrad, as my mate." I finally said, and my wolf cried.
He chuckled as disappointment and pain skates all over his face. "You're heartless, Liviana. You're killing me over and over again." He said before coughing as he pants heavily. "I, Conrad, reject you, Liviana, as my mate." He said as tears rolled down his face. He closed his eyes again, and I think he got unconscious.
