Prince Matthew however couldn't contain his joy, Two weeks after accommodating Tata whom he never knew was a princess from Jalin kingdom, he married her as they both did their wedding in the palace. The wedding was the talk of the Town, but Princess Tata face wasn't revealed to any of the guest that came to her wedding with the crown prince. When one of the high ranking council member stood up to question the crown king why their new Queen's face was covered, except she's ugly.

King Matthew whom has already been coronated as the new king, replied the high profile guest and all whom had honored his invitation saying,

"Let it be a new govern law from today that all married or betrothed maiden and wife to a man of Acan, must cover their head and faces always with a veil, for as long as they are married to their husbands except divorced, they are not allowed to reveal their face to anyone, unless the woman is inside of her chambers, she is free to remove her veil, but once she's outside of her room, even at her corridor or parlour she must hide and cover her face away from other men, and this is a new rule that must be adhered too, by all married and engaged women living in Acan," Stated King Matthew as he passed the rule, which was written and stamped, the citizens stared in shock.

All whom had attended the royal marriage, didn't dare to disagree with their new king orders as silent filled the hall.

After the coronation and marriage ceremony, the new law became the talk of the Town, as all married and engaged women started buying veils to cover their faces after the proclamation of the new law.

Some gossiped maybe their new queen was ugly as to why her face wasn't revealed, but having heard rumors from those whom worked within the palace and had seen the new queen before the implementation of the compulsory use of veil, they had told them that the new queen was too beautiful and might not be a native maiden from Acan as her beauty was extraordinary than that of Acan most beautiful women.

Queen Tata didn't dare to reveal her face to anyone again even after the royal marriage had ended. As it was how to consummate her marriage with her husband, that she worried about as the king made no effort to sleep with her..

She knew she had locked all her magic powers but didn't know if the witches virginity power was still effective..

She heard from the council meeting before she married King Matthew that the Jalin kingdom were in search of one of their princess but she pretended not to have heard it. The news spread as the Jalin kingdom seeked permission from Acan to search for their princess, but still they couldn't find her because she had locked all her powers and never bothered in using it, so none of her siblings would find her. They wanted her to marry her cousin brother even after her refusal.

At first her elder brother wanted her instead of her elder sister per their custom demands. He had come several times into her chamber at night telling her how much he desired of her, but she refused to let him sleep with her, As she was perceived as one of the strongest witches and it was the ancestral prophesy that an immortal witch will be reborn that sicken her family to practice incest.

She wasn't allowed to make a choice of marrying a man that she loves, her father had warn her never to speak ill of their custom and she must adhere to their ancestral law, whether she wants it or not, it not in her position to change the laws as their ancestors had been following it to keep their powers pure and she must prepare herself for her marriage, once she turned twenty years of age.

Queen Tata sat in her chamber after her marriage with King Matthew, the new king wasn't in a hurry to sleep with her either, even after they had been married for two weeks, he still had not gone to meet her to consummate their marriage. She worried maybe he had found out the truth about her, but he still behaves sweet and kind to her.

Tata waited for him to return as it was already two weeks after they both got married, she was extremely worried if she did not give herself to him, then her family will soon find her as they were obsessed with getting her married to her cousin brother.

Prince Matthew arrived from his maternal home, he was away for some time as his grand mother was in her sick bed, she was very kind and sweet to him when he was younger.

Tata heard from her handmaid that the king has arrived , she waited for him to retire to his room and she went to observe him, seeing her entered his chamber. Prince Matthew stood up and went to welcome her inside

"How have you been doing my Queen?" He asked as he sat on the couch next to her.

"Am fine, how's Grandma doing?" She asked him, as her eyes dimmed, if only she had her powers she could have tried going with him to heal his grandmother but she had already lock all her powers and Acan people doesn't like magic or the use of it either.

"She's doing better, just an old age worry" replied King Matthew, as he leaned back and stretched his legs, placing them on the stool..

Tata smiled at him and lean forward, she was taught in Jalin ways to seduce their husband when they got married as she was taught some men might not be in the mood for sex, but once they mastered the art of seduction they could control him and lure him to bed.

Tata lean forward and placed her palm on his chest, the King relaxed under her touch, then she ran her fingers around his chest, a soft "hmm" escaped his lips as he sighed and he held her hands to stop.

"What are you doing?" He asked her.

"What does it look to you am doing, aren't we going to do it?," She asked him and he stood up, turning to look away from her.

"What wrong your majesty, don't you find me worthy of becoming the mother of your children?" She questioned him as her head lowered and she began to sob.

Hearing her sob, King Matthew softened and walked back to meet her, "It not like I do not want to make love to you, but am not in the mood for that now" He lied to her.

Tata pushed him away and ran out of his chamber. She knew he was suspecting her to be from Jalin and especially now that he knows Jalin people were looking for their second princess, he might be suspecting her to be the one.

Acan and Jalin Kingdom were enemies in the past, and this was because they were jealous of how beautiful and gifted the people of Jalin are. Most of women from Jalin were extraordinary beauties than most of Acan and more with their special abilities and power to control air, fire and water, depending on whiatever special power the person possessed, as any one from Jalin had a hidden special power. She knew he was suspecting her but she wouldn't give him up yet. She intended to lure him to bed and decided to come back the following day to achieve her aim.

Princess Tata already had her dinner, so she went outside the palace to have a look. King Matthew's sister arrived as she was married to a wealthy man from Kande, she came to the palace as she heard that her brother had gone to their maternal home and had returned she wanted to see him and chat with him as they were close before she got married about three years ago. And also she came most importantly to see her brother's wife as her husband didn't allow her attend the royal marriage because she had recently given birth sane date as the Royal marriage.

"Greetings my Princess!" The palace maids welcomed her as they help her carry her baby

"Where is Queen mother?," she asked as she gave her new baby to one of the maids. Just then she spotted her mother whom was coming down the stairs.

"You haven't change Lisa, always arriving late at night," stated Queen Rosa as she came down and Princess Lisa went to give her a hug, "I miss you mom!."

"Hmm, you should be missing your husband not me," Queen Rosa teased and Lisa blushed.

"So mom where's brother, I need to apologise to him for missing the coronation and his marriage am sure he will be annoyed with me" Princess Lisa said.

"Don't say that, your brother is a very understandable man and besides he knows you just welcomed a child, so not to worry" Queen Rosa advised her as she turned to take a seat.

Still standing Lisa shook her head, "No mother I have to go and see him in his Chambers now, is his wife there with him?"

"No!" Queen Rosa shook her head in response

"Okay mother I will be back." Lisa left and rushed up the stairs, going to her brother's chamber.
