The King Dies Soon

"You are not the Prince, but you look exactly like him," Ian's valet said in a whisper as he looked Dan over after the King left him alone in the chamber to prepare him to look like Prince Ian.

Dan cleared his throat, "What is your name?"

"My name is Luke, milord."

"My driver looks exactly like you. His name is Zachary," Dan said as he looked at the valet, wondering what fate must have befallen the valet after the death of Ian.

"Driver?" Luke asked with polite curiosity.

"Yes, like a coachman. He drives my car," Dan explained.

"What is a car?" Luke asked in confusion.

"Oh! Uhm, it's like a modern carriage," Dan said for lack of a better way to describe it.

"And he looks exactly like me?" Luke asked thoughtfully as he picked up the items he needed to make Dan's hair look exactly like Ian's.

"Yes. The same way I look like the Prince," Dan explained.
