So Annoying

By the time Dan returned inside after his phone call with Zach, he didn't see any trace of Bella in the living room, so he had decided to check the rooms. He had checked both rooms but still couldn't find her, so he decided to check the kitchen.

He stood by the kitchen door as he watched her staring down at the ingredients before her while making no attempt to do something.

While Bella was waiting for Dan, she had decided to go fix dinner, but after bringing out the only ingredients in the kitchen, she had realized that she had no idea what to do with them. She had lost her memory, and she would have to learn how to cook again, except, of course, she regained her memory right this moment.

Dan, who had been by the door for about two minutes, cleared his throat to get her attention when he noticed that she was oblivious to his presence.

"I don't know how to go about it," Bella said when she took note of his presence.
