Okami noted that Makino's pokemon starter became a shiny one, being blessed by Arceus and all. This meant stronger attributes and higher power than the normal ones. As for her ability, if she could awaken Armament Haki as well, her defense would be tough to break because her starter pokemon was a defensive type as well.

He doubted if the Seafarer trait was related to their abilities to survive in the seas or not. Not only that, but he also wondered if this was only possessed by Makino or was it applicable to all Pokemon Trainers as well. Considering some of these pokemon starters were water types, they would lose their innate advantage if they were weak against seawater.

The food bell rang and Troy appeared while carrying two plates filled with meat. He served the food and gave Okami a disconcerting look. "I've heard your conversation. Looks like I am out of job."

Okami shrugged his shoulders and started eating once again.

Troy went back to the kitchen and informed Glen and Mackie about the current situation of the Partys Bar. At once, the trio headed to the countertop and confronted Makino.

"Hey, Makino! That was a very sudden move on your part. You should have warned us before making such a life-changing decision." Glen sighed exasperatedly and sat down. "What's gonna happen to us?"

Makino's face reddened and bowed down. "Sorry, everyone. I just wanted my problems to be over. You can't blame me if I accept the solution when it comes right at my office."

"Don't worry, it is partially my fault. As the new owner of this bar, I want to retain everyone as well," Okami comforted them before munching another piece of meat, and continued, "I'm planning to turn this place into a Pokemon Center - Dawn Island branch."

"Interesting name but I don't have any idea what you are talking about," Mackie replied as he took a seat beside Okami and asked, "Care to explain?"

Okami told them what a Pokemon Center was and the services that it offered. The longer they listened to his explanation, the more they were amazed by the novelty of the shop.

The first one to break the silence was Troy. "But you were also discussing a ship or something. I'm kind of interested to travel the seas as well. Can I join your crew?"

Okami was just done with the last morsel of meat and burped loudly. "Well, you can join us if you want to, after all, you already fit the requirements I need because you are a Pokemon Trainer."

"Hey, if you want to stay on the sea for a long time, then you need a good chef with you, Okami. Why not hire me as well? Remember, I'm also a Pokemon Trainer." Glen reminded him.

"And a chef needs an assistant to help him with the miscellaneous things," Mackie added. "Please hire me as well."

Indeed, a ship needed these kinds of talents to maintain the well-being of the crew members. If he wanted to survive the long journey, he had to follow the protocol and hire people. A chef was a must.

Okami summoned his Pokemon App and assigned the trio to the remaining slots.

At once, several prompts appeared on his inbox.

Okami was surprised when he found out they had the same last names but did not bother asking how they were related to each other. The three Rattatas were converted to PP and he redeemed Sandshrew, Psyduck, and Oddish without hesitation. Soon, the three pokemon appeared before him.

Psyduck looked around and saw Okami. At once, he drew closer to him and rubbed his beak on his pants.

Sandshrew just coiled into a ball while Oddish sat still and closed his eyes.

Makino stooped down and touched Sandshrew's scaly skin. "These creatures never cease to amaze me."

Glen's gaze was on Psyduck. "Why does the dumb-looking duck remind me of you, Troy?"

Troy ignored his nasty comment and petted Oddish. "This is a pokemon as well?"

Okami summoned the Pokemon App and proceeded to summon the PC, the Pokemon Duplicating machine, the Pokemart, and the Pokemon Center inside the bar, rearranging them into their proper places. When he was done, the place was almost unrecognizable because of the futuristic styles of these things. With this, the Pokemon Center of Dawn Island was officially formed.

The countertop was transformed into the Pokemon Center, in which the big screen behind it accentuated the area.

At the right, a glass display was materialized, wherein the Pokemart merchandises were displayed inside while the PC was standing right next to it. The dining area and kitchen were not changed at all.

Okami instructed them what to do and informed them of their respective roles inside the shop. He clarified and answered all of their concerns and doubts until he was sure that they understood what the purpose of the Pokemon Center was. When everything was done, he unsummoned the pokemon and went back to his room after excusing himself.

He plopped on the bed and checked the Pokemon App.

He realized that the Pokemon App did not reward him for building the infrastructures, suspecting that it was a one-time quest and he already received the PP back in the world of Naruto. He shrugged his shoulders and unsummoned the App before sleeping.

Five months passed by in a flash.

During these times, the villagers came to know the changes that happened within the Partys Bar. Even though many people visited the bar to eat their meals, the highlight of the shop was the Pokemart. They came to know the existence of potions and antidotes, which they used to heal themselves after hunting or fishing. When Wood Slap knew about this, he was fuming because his business was affected. Even then, he did not confront Okami because he perfectly understood the boy's side, being a businessman as well.

Slowly, Okami introduced pokemon to the villagers by summoning them at the backyard for everyone to see. They became curious and started asking about pokemon and what it could do. After they learned that these creatures could potentially become their helpers, they became interested in catching pokemon.

The seed was already planted in their hearts. Okami prioritized in creating the Pokemon Safari so they could safely catch pokemon. He began to annihilate all the dangerous animals within the Minkyu forest. As a result, the place became a haven for the wild pokemon. The forest was instantly surrounded by Palkia's barriers once he confirmed the process via the Pokemon App. Minkyu Forest officially became the Pokemon Safari of Dawn Island.

When everything was settled, Okami began informing the villagers about the proper way of catching Pokemon. A few daring volunteers went to the forest and tried catching one. Some of them succeeded and bragged their newly found partners to the rest of the villagers. There was a ripple effect and more people became interested in having a pokemon of their own. Soon, the Pokemon Safari was filled with visitors and Pokeballs became a hot commodity in the Foosha village.

The only pokemon they could catch right now were the weaker ones because the stronger pokemon were harder to capture.

Some of them kept the pokemon as pets while others used them as aides in their jobs. Most of the fishermen had their Goldeens and Tentacools to help them catch fishes while hunters used their Growlithes to assist them in hunting games. Laborers and porters loved their Machops and Mankeys because the pokemon were strong enough to help them lift things.

Soon, the villagers were exposed to pokemon battles and this became their new hobbies. They became more familiar with the different pokemon moves and how they could use them in protecting themselves from dangers. Wood Slap realized the potential to earn money and decided to create a simple battle arena where the Pokemon Trainers could officially fight and people could bet.

Because of this, Makino got busier due to the increasing numbers of hurt pokemon. Pokemon trainers started to recognize the value of Pokemon Centers and Makino became a celebrity in the Foosha village.

Soon, the pokemon trainers started noticing an anomaly, wherein they could not capture the seventh pokemon no matter how hard they weakened their target. At once, they reported it to Makino, who in turn relayed it to Okami.

Okami clarified their doubts and told the villagers about the PC service. When they were informed about it, they created their accounts and began using the system. Soon, people could be seen lining up inside the Partys Bar to check their caught pokemon and stored items.

Because of the increasing demands of their services, Okami hired another girl named Cola to assist Makino in the Healing Machine while Hidoshi, the son of Hedi the porter, was employed to help Troy with his work. In the future, they would be the people that would man the Pokemon Center Dawn Island branch if they decided to start their journey.

Even though many things had happened within these months, this did not hinder Okami in doing his weekly itinerary. To make his exercises more intense, he visited a blacksmith to help him create his version of ankle weights and hand weights just like that of Rock Lee. He intended to use it every day while doing his arduous training. Because of this, his strength, endurance, and speed increased significantly.

At first, he followed his schedules to the tee. But he was enjoying his exercises so much that he discarded the time for social-making and bounty hunting, and made his training much longer.

He visited many forests that were filled with dangerous animals and continued his killing spree. He used his Zoan form and normal form to fight alternately and became more familiar with it.

He continued training his Zoan form and succeeded in summoning another tail on his back, making him a Two-tailed werewolf. The noticeable changes that he felt were the two-fold increase of his body strength, speed, and endurance even if he was in his normal form.

During these five months, Okami was able to redeem the remaining Generation I pokemon except for Mew, Mewtwo and the three legendary birds who were left in the Naruto world. Pikachu, male Nidoran, Clefairy, Poliwag, Bellsprout, Slowpoke, Doduo, Farfetch'd, Shellder, Voltorb, Exeggcute, Lickitung, Rhyhorn, Tangela, Horsea, Staryu, Jynx, Electabuzz, Magmar, Pinsir, Tauros, Lapras, Porygon, Omanyte, Kabuto, and Aerodactyl were made available to the people. All of his earlier basic pokemon had evolved this time, except for the ones who needed special stones like Jigglypuff, and Trading Machine like Kadabra.

Because of the limited space inside the Pokemon Safari, he opted to release other pokemon at the Gray Terminal, the remaining forests and mountainous area surrounding the Goa kingdom. He even went to the nearby islands to released some of the pokemon in the wild. Most of the water pokemon were sent out to the open seas and rivers.

Makino and the rest of his clan members were not slacking in their training as well. Even though they were busy, Okami made it a requirement for them to have their exercises between 3 PM to 7 PM. As a result, their pokemon evolved faster and they became more formidable and stronger. They could now use their Zoan form with ease.
