CHAPTER 03: "What have I gotten myself into?!"

Tyler's car was parked not too far away from the building. We walked towards the car and immediately took our seats.

"So... any ideas where we should start from?" Tyler asked, starting the car.

"Come one dude. We live in the city of Chicago. There are so places we can visit." Luke said.

"Well then. We are going to a park where there is an artificial lake and its pretty suitable for our theme of photography". Tyler said.

"So guys the plan for today is that we'll go find some beautiful landscapes and take some brilliant clicks..... " Tyler said but Luke cut his sentence.

"Is anybody else getting bored here, 'cause sammmee". Luke yawned.

"By the way Lucy, Anna told me you avoided me all high school period on purpose. Can I ask why is that?" Luke asked, turning around to face me.

I was caught off guard. Generally, I always know how to react in situations like these, but it was so sudden that I almost choked on my own spit.

"Erm.. I think you've received wrong information." I stuttered

"No no no.. Now that I think of it, I'm certain that you used to avoid me." He said, raising an eyebrow.

I'm guessing he even doesn't know how big of a monster he is.

"Anyways..you shouldn't have ignored me like that. I can be very fun you know. We can be buddies!! ". Luke said proudly.

"Okay..I will be looking forward to it then." I said, hesitantly, regretting every life decision.

"Well.. You know I've always been super popular with girls." He winked at me idiotically, which instantly made me want to throw up.

Thankgod Tyler interrupted or else it was getting really hard for me to fight the urge to punch that douchebag in his face.

"Hey dude, stop before her patience wears thin. She already finds us very intimidating."

Luke chuckled. "Wait what? No Tyler, it's not 'us' who she finds intimidating. It's just 'you'! I guess you guys are the one who got into a dispute over some stupid problem, not me. Im clearly not related to any of this. Watch us being best buddies."

Tyler just shook his head in dismay.

Our destination was bit too far, so it took us a while to get there. I guessed Luke had fell asleep on the way, that's probably how he kept is mouth shut.

I caught a glimpse of him sleeping against the door of the car, which made me giggle. An evil idea was growing in my head.

"He is such a heavy sleeper. Who is going to wake him up now"? Tyler said creasing his forehead.

"Wait a minute. I've got an idea! " I chimed, snapping my fingers.

I simply opened the door and Luke fell on the ground, tumbling all over.

Everyone started laughing their heads off, except Luke who looked more surprised than displeased.

"Hey! What's happening? Who did that? " Luke asked, waking up from his deep slumber.

Sweet revenge.

"Hey keep it down pal. You weren't waking up. We were left with no other way." Tyler said, approaching him and helping him get up.

Anna and I were still having a hard time holding in our laughter.

"Just tell me who did that?" He asked furiously, which made me shudder.

I realized I shouldn't have messed with him, but it was too late.

"I swear it wasn't me. It was... her". Tyler said, pointing at me.

"So you did that. Now stop laughing. What makes you think that I am not gonna get a revenge over this?" He said frowning.

Oh God, what have I gotten myself into?!!
