Jace's Point of View

  Since an hour ago I've been watching Elsie behind a statue of an angel with a radius quite far from her. Hadn't I been adamant and determined myself not to appear in front of him? This is all I can do to observe it with my own eyes. That encounter at the motorcycle race made me miss him so much and I wanted so badly to see him, to make sure he was okay.

  He walked down the path. Instead of continuing his steps until he reached the door of the burial place, he stepped aside and stopped next to the angel statue, laying his body on his arms outstretched. He didn't move for a while, and I made sure he was asleep there. Gradually I walked away from the angel statue that was hiding me. I walked over to him very carefully so he wouldn't catch me stalking him here.
