Alex stood in the pathway as his once room became dust. 'I was able to suppress the strike but am still surprised that Davain's room wasn't affected.' he sighed with relief as memories of Lavune's journey of swordsmanship entered his brain along with a notification he accepted without denying.

[(S) Full body martial arts – Hand-to-hand combat technique dedicated to utilizing every single part of the body to incapacitate the enemy, it can be used to complement other forms of martial art.]- Minor realm of mastery.

[New skill]

[(C+) Retaliation- Reflect 60% of the damage from your enemies.] 100 Arcane Energy to upgrade.

Alex can copy some of the techniques they use as long it involves mana because he now has Arcane mana. But things like skills should be passed down like what happened which involves the Soul contract. But he also found out that he could make skills without using Arcane energy and also gain them by just touching a book that contains that information which was something he wanted to try.

Leaving through the pathway he left the barrier where Lillian was sitting somewhere not far away with a bored expression. "I did, say don't wait for us," he spoke arriving close to her location.

"Mr. Zero." she exclaimed, "It just took you a few hours to finish huh.... And with the look at it," she saw his body had deep cut marks and bleeding was the only thing that was stopped by minor healing. "It was a tough battle." She seemed worried after noticing this.

"Don't worry about Davain, the test just matches the person's powers," he answered which removed some of her worries.

"Then in the meantime let me bandage your wounds." She inquired and Alex went to lay close to her accepting. Sometime later he finally slept after a long ass time which shocked her seeing how instantly he went to sleep. "Was it that hard when I didn't even feel anything outside." She wondered. Even asleep Alex's soul senses were scanning for anything that was coming, his body was ready to react to any killing intent even the smallest ones.

He was high alert but suddenly he felt someone stroking his hair laying on something soft which he didn't mind.

A few hours later

Alex didn't expect that Davain would finish today and was willing to wait for a few days at the very least. So, the moment he woke up he planned to find the artifact and try finding the ores by himself from the description he got from Davain.

Opening his eyes, he found himself on Lillain's lap who stroked his hair staring at the path that Davain took. Noticing some movements, she looked down and jumped back in shock "OOO YOU are awake am sorry if I woke you up." she said.

Alex just smiled and stood up his eyes staring somewhere with a complicated expression, 'He hasn't learned the first form, this may take a month.' he thought standing up. He stared at her and said "Thanks."

"No problem."

Staring at the tomb he said, "Let's go to the third floor and fourth floor in the meantime, than wait for him here without doing anything."

"Do you think he will be fine." she inquired with a worried expression.

"The kid is much more talented than you think Lillain." he answered putting his hand forward. "let's go." Staring at the tomb once more she took Alex's hand.

[Monarch's curse activated]

Waves of wind rushed around them before he jumped reaching outside and seeing the vast forest below. 'Maybe I can create my own dungeon one day.' he thought.

In the tomb

Davain was sweating buckets, breathing heavily holding his kneels for support with a confused expression, "What am I doing wrong." he shouted.

"You need to focus lad or you will fail, don't rush it, and calm your mind." the old man who had a bigger physique than Davain stood before him stroking his beard, with a smile on his face.

'It seems like you aren't the only one who found a talented pupil.' he said, seeing that Davain was gasping the form little by little, but he knew that given a week or two he should be able to do it. "Davain" he stared at the old man who then asked "You are already good in swordsmanship maybe at expert level. Who teaches you."

"OOO that is my grandpa, he always pushed me." he smiled standing upright.

It has been a day and a half since Alex and Davain entered the dungeon which him still inside the tomb and Alex going to the third floor. He stood there and started studying the book before him "Is it my inability to control my strength." he said out loud as he sat down.

'I can't let this talent be wasted.' he shouted aloud seeing that he had already found the solution.
