The Path of Heroes - A Journey Around the World (English Version)

Because of the selfishness of a god who did not intend to share his throne, a bet was made and a world was created. Scattered across seas, lands, volcanoes, mountains, and ice, were the Pieces of Destiny. However, this world is divided into twelve races, and many of them are still in the midst of war. That's why a woman united three people to do what no one else would. But how could mere humans compete with the destructive power of angels, demons, dragons, elves, and beasts? It was at that moment that Kewy Nawick received his Apostle's Blessing. How could Louise, an eccentric and short-tempered mage; Tauri, a boy with no firepower; and Kewy, a downcast warrior, find specific relics scattered throughout the world and, above all, face races strong enough to split mountains in half?

Louise Flyer: The Price of Pride - Part 6

"Hello, miss, could you give us some information?" A stranger who looked like a soldier from Forthen called out to her.

After refusing, somewhat aggressively, to give information to the first person who asked, she saw that there was someone else accompanying him. He was a handsome young man of great stature and light hair. He asked the same question as his friend. Of course, now Louise answered as she should have. She had refused at first because she was not in the mood to talk to anyone this morning, as everything had gone wrong early on. But how could Louise refuse information to someone so beautiful? Her entire head seemed to have become light just from that voice.

They were in search of the Fyer Library, so she instructed the elegant young man where to go. Finally, Louise left.

However, in the end, she forgot something.

"Oh, right, I didn't ask for his name," she said as she looked back and saw the two heading towards the library. "Well, it doesn't matter."

Little did Louise know that, in the distance, someone was watching her. If everything went according to the plans of the person who had been observing them until then, those two would soon meet again. Of course, this person knew that the price to be paid for their ideals would only be no greater than the size of the bet they would make with fate. "It will be like rolling a dice with infinite sides... but, if there is even a chance, even if it is one in a million, I will bet whatever it takes," the black-haired woman thought as she gazed at her target.
