Gaining Some Exp

After school was over, Jake went home with Cat and Sky. Reaching home, their dad wasn't there since he'll obviously be at work, Jake went to his room and closed the doors. 'Okay, time to see how this gaining of exp works.' He brought up the system again while lying on his bed:

[Gaining of exp:Exp can be gained by receiving direct contact from sunlight but the longer the contact, the smaller the exp]

[Can also be gained by completing quests and defeating opponents]

[Exp gained from defeating opponents depends on the strength of the opponent]

'Okay, so I get exp from beating opponents, I already have a few people on my list. Let's take a look at the quests.'

"It's actually not that bad. I just have to do these things and I get stats and some exp. Let me start with the 20 push ups."

After the push ups Jake did, he got a notification in the system.

'Woah, I can feel the slight increase in strength. But how do I use magic and how do I get elements. Wait, don't the Werts use stuff like this, producing fire and controlling the wind, maybe those are the elements, but how am I supposed to get them? Well, this is enough for now. I'll complete the other quest tomorrow and maybe I'll get those guys who beat me up. I just need a little information on them' Jake thought smiling from the joy of beating the people who sent him to the infirmary.

He took a shower because of the push ups he did earlier, called his friends from his former school and then gave Cat a call.

Cat was talking with her cousin Cassandra when she heard her phone ring and saw it was Jake calling "It's Jake. The guy I've been telling you about." "Well answer it" Cassandra said. She was almost as beautiful as Cat but her hair was shoulder length brown. She was the same height as Cat and also had a curvaceous body with a seductive aura around her.

"Hey, what's up?" Jake asked after Cat picked the call. "I'm fine. How are you? After what those guys did to you you should be in bed" "I am in bed just not sleeping. I actually feel a lot better" and he wasn't lying about it. His health status in the system was almost full and it was like the pain wasn't there but he still felt a little bit of it.

"Don't worry, I'll collect them gradually. So what are you up to?" "Not much. Just talking with my cousin. My aunt's home early from work so she decided to make dinner." "Your cousin Cassandra, right?" "Yeah, you remembered her name from the Seetle" "Yeah I did. Is she just as beautiful as you?" "Why you asking, are you looking for another girl to replace me?" Cat asked blushing slightly. "Of course not. You know I'd never do that."

After dropping the phone, Cat went back to Cassandra's room, she had left after Cass teased her for blushing and told her she was smiling like a little girl. "What was that about?" Cassandra asked smiling teasingly. "He just called to ask for some notes" "Yeah, the notes he could have asked for in school tomorrow he just had to call to ask for it. Was he asking for the notes for over thirty minutes?" "Why are you being so curious about the matter. Just mind your own business okay." "Okay but just take it slow and be careful. You never who you can trust" "Yeah yeah, you're always saying that but you never follow your own advice."

"Girls, dinner's ready. Come down and eat" Cassandra's mom and Cat's Aunt Maggie called from downstairs.
