Unknown to Edith, Samantha had access to the database that stored the users' information. She was looking at Edith's information that was collected with the registration of his spirit token. In front of her stood various strands of DNA; however, that was not what surprised her. Instead, it was the complexities of his DNA. Normally, DNA is made up of alternating sugar and phosphate groups into a backbone for a strand. These strands then have one of the four bases: adenine, cytosine, guanine, or thymine. These strands would then come together to form a double helix, a shape that looks similar to a double ladder. However, Edith was the complete opposite. While everything seemed the same, Samantha was counting 14 extra bases and even a very concerning issue of shape. The once double helix that stood straight is bent, and multiple of them composed a single DNA.

These bent double helixes converged into the shape of a star; even more impressive is that each star seemed to be holding something else inside. Although Edith's DNA was a bundle of mystery and advancements ready to be discovered, his DNA had a genetic lock. This genetic lock destroyed any hope or even a chance of being able to study and understand his DNA.

She peeled her eyes off the DNA and looked at the information regarding his Qi and became even more certain he was a powerful cultivator. The special program that was able to analyze even a golden core cultivator's Qi was unable to even discover any of Edith's Qi. Samantha became even more respectful to Edith and swiftly asked, "So? How is it? Or, would you like me to procure you another one?"

"Oh, no, this one is fine."

"That's good."

Samantha and Edith stayed in an awkward silence for a few minutes. Eventually, Edith broke this by asking, "Don't you want the items you paid for?"

"Ah! Y-yes!"

"Here, also please be advised that I'm not responsible for any damages incurred if you overuse them."

"I understand."

Samantha looked at the few items that Edith had placed on the table with anticipation. The first was a bottle that was made of an unknown type of jade, carved into it was a giant tree that seemed to hold the universe. Inside were three sky-blue pills that seemed to be as normal as a mortal. Two of such bottles were left on the table. While the second item was a black box that had a large tree carved on the front. Inside was a golden pill neatly positioned on a ruby red cushion.

"Woah!"

Samantha exclaimed at the calming effect it had in her mind even by looking at it. This was by no means an easy feat as she was a golden core cultivator! Moreover, there were two such boxes on the table! Her eyes gleamed with a strange light, and she looked at Edith with a small smile. Noticing her smile, Edith suddenly shivered unconsciously, and quickly looked away. As she kept staring at him, Edith finally gave in and asked, "D-did you need something?"

"Mhm! I wanted to know whether you had anything else to sell? Hehe, anything would be fine."

"As of this moment, no I do not."

"Oh, alright. Well, if that changes in the future, you have my contact information." Samantha replied while also standing up and getting ready to leave. She had already accomplished her task and now she needed to report back to her superiors. She grabbed the items she had just bought and left the hotel room.

Edith was now left alone in the hotel room and quickly went to exploring the new device in his wrist. It was mostly the same item called a smartphone; however, he noticed a few more features that were unavailable to the general public. The first one was an app called Spirit Market. This app connected with a market of cultivators selling their wares and anything else they might not need. He even found a few selling their lives for a hefty sum. Although the token had a few more features, he was too focused on the Spirit Market to care for them. He browsed through the items and wares looking for any type of natural treasures.

Eventually, he found three of them; one of them was a type of cold water that can clear out one's bone marrows. Another was a rare spirit grass called Blood Dew. While the last was a rock that could be absorbed into one's body to strengthen it. Although they were all expensive, Edith bought all of them, bringing his fortune of $1,250,000 to a mere $500. However, even with such a massive purchase, Edith was still ecstatic. He wanted to complete this quest as quickly as possible and hopefully achieve a high enough reward level to get a cultivation technique he could use. Although he wanted to complete the quest as soon as possible, he was unable to do anything about the delivery time that took up a whole three days.

During those three days, Edith simply enjoyed his time in the world he found himself in. He watched a few of the things they called movies, very entertaining moving pictures that depicted a story. He also experienced the revolutionary entertainment object called video games; he also experienced the toxicity of the human mind. Of course, due to the difference in culture, Edith had some questions. One such question was how a little girl no younger than 10 could be so cruel? He had tried playing a first-person shooter game, and a little girl in the lobby he was in felt the need to try and absolutely kill his self-confidence. It was brutal. During one of his games, a doorbell rang, indicating a guest in his hotel room.

"Hold on, I'll be there in one second!"

Edith said while thinking about how lucky he was for Samantha to upgrade his room and pay for his stay. Now he was in the penthouse suite and would continue to live here for a whole month! He quickly put down his controller, ignoring the ridicule of the people in his lobby.

"The bot is leaving! Haha, go and see what your mommy wants!"

"If he was going to leave, why the hell did he insta-lock!"

"Grr! I swear I'm going to have his head if I ever see him!"
