Edith looked over at the person who introduced himself as Jason. He was confused about the reason he was here; however, with the addition of calling him a cultivator, it startled him. Not because cultivators were on Earth, but instead because he wasn't a cultivator! Jason, sensing his unease, swiftly said, "Haha, did I come off too strong? You're not in trouble or anything like that; I simply want to talk to you."

"Talk? What could you possibly want with me?"

"Here, how about we continue this talk in a more private setting?"

Edith looked at Jason and smiled slightly. Although he was in no capacity to trick or even fight the person in front of him, ignorance can go a long way. Edith followed Jason into a private room, and they both sat down.

"So? What do you want from me, Jason of Silver Wolf."

"Straight to the point, something I can get behind. I noticed you seemingly appearing in an alleyway, something that is hard to do. Moreover, standing in front of you now, I can confirm you are quite strong, as your body seems to destroy any strands of Qi that I send out."

"That still doesn't answer my question. What do you want from me?"

"I want to buy a few things off you, anything really would be appreciated." Edith looked at Jason with a devious smile; his eyes locked onto the poor lad like he was simply his prey. He quickly exchanged a few words with Luna to confirm a few things, and once they were confirmed, he quickly responded to Jason with a capitalistic smile.

"So you want some of my wares?"

"That is correct."

"That's fine; however, I want a few things done, simple really. I want you to forge me an identity along with all the necessary documents."

"Hmm, that's fine. May I have your name, sir? I'll have my people get on it immediately."

"Edith, Edith Star."

"Alright, it will be done shortly."

"Alright, you said you wanted some of my wares? Would you like some spiritual pills or something else?"

"Both!"

"Haha! A good choice! A single bottle that contains three of spirit nourishment pills will cost you $250,000, and I'll only sell two bottles for now. While I can sell you an Enlightenment Pill, a pill that has remarkable effects. I'll also only sell two for now, with each one of them costing 1,000,000."

"Hmm, it's quite expensive for something I have no idea of its effectiveness."

"That might be true, however, it wouldn't be as enticing if you do, wouldn't it?"

"Haha, that is true. Very well, I'll take you up on your offer. However, I have another condition; if you're going to sell more, please contact us first."

Jason smiled at this and slowly got up to leave; however, before he left, he did say, "You can order anything you may want; it's already paid for." Edith nodded at this and, of course, wasn't polite, thoroughly enjoying the cuisine in this new world. Luckily it was already paid for, as even the waiter was stunned at the expanse the food had totaled.

With a good amount of funds now available to him, Edith went to his room to lay down. Now all he had to do was discover enough high energy sources to create the pathway. Although he knew what he needed to do, he had no idea how to do so.

'Luna, what does it mean by energy? Like, what counts as energy?'

'Hmm, it can be anything from Qi, natural energy, or even nuclear energy. Although some energies will have a more efficient effect than others. An example of this would be using energy that was created by the world, so natural treasures or resources compared to others.'

'I see, so I need to get my hands on natural resources. Hmm, so I'll need more money, huh?'

'That is correct; luckily you're able to still buy items from the shop or you might really be here for a while.'

'That may be true, however, I only have around 15,000 DC left. Even if I get the option of buying it at the retail price, I'm still running low on funds.'

'You can only hope you get lucky or find another way to earn income.'

'Well, I'll decide after I learn more about this world. Moreover, I need to understand how much influence 1,250,000 has.' Edith stayed in his room for the rest of the night waiting for Jason to deliver the promised goods. During this time, he also bought the two Spirit Nourishing Bottles and 2 Enlightenment Pills that were going to be used for the trade. Just when he was starting to get drowsy, a knock sounded out into the room.

"Come in!" Edith said with a small smile, not even inspecting whether it was truly Jason or not. While he expected to walk inside, his expectations were crushed as a beautiful woman walked through the door. Her hair and eyes were of a midnight black, containing the mysteries of the sky. While she was wearing a crimson red gown that seemed to have been dyed in blood. She smiled softly at Edith and bowed slightly, exposing her substantial amount of cleavage.

"Hello, you must be Edith."

"That would be correct, however, who are you young lady?"

"Young? Hehe, I'm Samantha and I will be the lead for the remainder of our connection."

"Alright, do you already have the items I requested?"

"I do, here you go, a spirit token. Inside are the contacts for me and also someone that can fulfill your request for official documents and identification. Then, in here is the $1,250,000." Samantha said as she gave Edith a black card with a gold dragon inscribed into it, and a watch. Edith looked at the watch in confusion; however, it seems Samantha noticed his confusion and explained it.

"The watch serves as a phone; it has all the same functions. Moreover, it's also connected with the various functions and features exclusive to cultivators. The watch identifies you as a cultivator and must be kept on your person at all times; moreover, the display uses DNA holographic technology."

"Oh, a very convenient device." Edith said trying to keep his admiration and the confusion at the terms used to explain it. With Samantha staring at Edith with eyes that urge him to try it out, Edith placed it on his wrist and felt a small pain from his wrist.

The only difference in the panels were the applications and the color; however, everything else was an exact match. While Edith was confused on the similarities to the panel to his system panel, Samantha was staring at the data collected from the spirit token in shock.
