Chapter 29: Needed
Frances and Stephen stormed out of the theater building. They couldn't believe that their worst nightmare had come to be. Stephen felt his rage coming back to him. Frances, on the other hand, fought to stay calm. She could tell that he'd need her to do so.
Stephen wished to get back home to his brother right away. Frances argued that it'd be best to go and do something together, to try and calm down a bit. He disagreed at first, but in the end, came to terms with her idea. She made a good point in that Drew would still be out doing his job. The two went to a local bar down the street.
The two entered in. The bar was loud, but not for the same reason as most. It was karaoke night. Many locals attended this location's event night, due to receiving a free drink as a reward for singing. Stephen walked over towards the bartender, but Frances grabbed his arm. He gave her a look of dismay.
"You've got to be kidding me," said Stephen.
"What, why not?" asked Frances.
