Chapter 10

The first to scream was Harley. Oliver was waving at the cameras, trying to get the lady's attention, and Jack just stood there, not sure what to do. His fear was gone, as was Ann, his friend who had been more like a sister to him. They should never have showed her the note and eye. They should've kept it a secret. But.....it was addressed to all of them, and she would've found out eventually, so...."-ack? Jack?! Jack!" "What?" Harley stepped closer to him. Gingerly, she touched his neck. "Your bleeding. Haven't you noticed? And....it looks like teeth marks. Human teeth marks." She pulled a tissue from the pack in her pocket, and gently wiped the blood away, scowling. "Who the fuck bit you?" "I don't know. It happened when the lights went out." She shook her head, still scowling. "Fucking bitches. And who in their right mind would turn a game-" "A game, you say? No, when you sign up for the murder mystery, this is what you get. Nothing here is a game. Its all real. So, would you like a hint?" "NO!" They all yelled, aggravated, and wondering who would ask them that after admitting to being a part of the murder. "Fine. But you still need to eacape." "What happens if we don't?" A brief pause. Then, she said, cheerfully, as if she was talking to her child: "You all die!" The intercom crackled, signaling she had signed off, and Oliver pulled out his phone. "This is fucking batshit crazy! I'm calling the police, now." Jack looked around. Was he scared? Yes. Did he want to leave? Of course. But he noticed something. One of the doors was open. And it lead to the kitchen. "Guys, we're done in this room. The kitchen is open." Oliver groaned in annoyance and disappointment. "It didn't go through." Jack nodded. "What do we do now?" Harley asked, no longer pale, but playing with her hair. A nervous habit of hers. "Then I guess we'll have to do this by ourselves." Jack answered, grimly, and stepped into the kitchen.
