"Chill, Bro. Why are you so eager to meet him? I'll send you the address later. I'll talk to him first, later, bro," How annoying, how could this guy be a friend of mine. And my only bestfriend at that.
"Aiko, let's go. I forgot that I had an appointment already set for today," Just when we were about to leave the rooftop. I turned around, and there I had a short glimpse of Aiko appearing to be dismayed.
Because of Augustine's sudden phone call, I forgot to respond to Aiko's question about my plan to rescue her mother.
"Aiko, I made a promise, and I'll make sure to fulfill what I said. Mark my words, you'll soon meet with your mother," The frown on her face disappeared as I assured her of my promise.
