Friendship?

On a certain train, three people are headed towards Times Square. One is just happy to be there while the other two were having a fierce conversation, with their eyes. Needless to say, we know who these are.

<Why did you suddenly invite Mary.>

<Becuase I wanted to have fun>

<Then you could do that with your other friends, you have some sort of hidden motive!>

<Maybe I do maybe I don't, why don't you go along with me and find out?>

<Because by the time I find out what you're planning it will be too late.>

The first one to break the silence was someone completely unexpected.

"I'm so happy I get to go with my first two friends in New York City to Times Square."

Honestly, this girl says some pretty embarrassing things very often. But... that kind of hurt, I was too fixated on the fact that Tara brought me by force, that I forgot to consider how Mary felt about going on a trip with us. It looks like Tara also sensed that we may have been 'arguing' a bit too much right now.

"Same here, I guess"(Luis)

"I feel the same way Mary-chan," said Tara with a big smile

They rode in silence for a bit until. Mhhh, this is an interesting atmosphere. Well, this is mostly Tara's fault for inviting us both out of nowhere when we barely know each other.

"*Clears throat* Looks likes our stop is coming up, why don't we get ready to get off?"(Luis)

"Okay."

We stand up and walk towards the door in time to hear the 'Next stop **** station". Well, that's what I assumed it said I can't really tell myself. I always thought it would be kind of funny if the voice of the person making the announcements actually sounded like that in real life.

We get off the subway and go up. Ugh, there are so many people. Come to think of it, did I ever go to Times Square in the time I've been here.

"Well then, where do you want to go first?"(Tara)

"Don't care."(Luis)

"Anywhere is fine."(Mary)

"In that case."

We walked around from store to store. It was very enjoyable, for the first two hours at least. But I didn't realize my mistake, I had never gone shopping with women before, I don't want to ever do this again! Why do they have to go from place to place, I wish I could excuse myself by saying that my muscles hurt but Tara knows that's not possible, maybe it could work on Mary but I feel like Tara might be able to convince her otherwise. We entered a clothing store.

"Tara, don't you think we've had enough?"(Luis)

"What do you mean?"(Tara)

"So was coming to this store a bad idea?... I was having fun and wanted to try more clothes."(Mary)

And the reason why I haven't left despite this is this. Well, it's not like I'm not having fun seeing them try new outfits but that's about as much fun as I have.

"No-no it's okay, I was just asking Tara if...if that was enough shopping so we can go out to eat later."

"Then, should I save my money too?"(Mary)

"No, it's fine, just gonna have a small conversation with Tara, you can go ahead and pick some clothes."

"...Okay."(Mary)

She leaves to find more clothing.

"Well, well, well looks like you can be nice if you try."(Tara)

"It's abit different with someone like her. It's like she has the mind of a 6-year-old with the intellect of a 14-year-old. She acts too innocent"

"True, I knew you wouldn't be able to do much against her. Good thing I brought her today."

"How does this benefit you?"

"I have my own reasons. Now let's go join up with Mary and see if we can find more clothes."

And thus an afternoon of being dragged around ended after 2 more hours of it. After we finished shopping and eating we headed towards the subway station an took the subway back. We are going back on the subway, it looks like Mary is somewhat sleepy.

"I haven't had a fun day like today in a while, thanks for everything"(Mary)

Would you stop saying stuff like that woman, you are killing me.

"Yes, it was very fun, don't ya think Luis?"

I think about it for a bit, mhhhh, I guess even if I was dragged around it was still enjoyable to spend the weekend with them

"Yeah, it was."

"Then, can we do something again on another weekend too?!" Mary said with sparkling eyes.

Wait, then what about my training.

"Maybe no..." she starts showing a sad face," not to Times Squares but somewhere else." I can't believe I said that. Well, what's done is done.

Mary leaves at here stop and then we leave at ours. On the way back from the station to our house, I start talking to Tara.

"Well then, why did you drag me out today?"

"No particular reason."

She doesn't seem to be lying, so just a day out that's it? When was the last time I had a free day? Mhhhh, so is that what it was.

"Were you trying to make me rest today?"

"Wha-what are you talking about?"

"Thanks, I guess."

"What was that?"

She just probably wants me to repeat it again.

"Nothing, anyways tomorrow I will have to do the homework I didn't do today as well as the training I missed. Might as well start," I say as I start running. I guess fun days like this can't be bad from time to time.

"Wait for me!"

I guess days like this with nothing to do but hangout aren't that bad. I put all the bags I had on me to the side, I do as much Homework as I can and sleep.

"Luis, stays with us, don't go running around."

"Mommy but-"

"I know it's your first time at the mall but you know you can't stray away from me."

"Okay."

I ran around mommy for the rest of the evening.

Alarm clock sounds. Well, that was a short dream, anyways let's just get on with today. I start my day with jogs and sprints. I started to practice sprints since That would be the only way for my hamstrings to get stronger apparently. I've also tried my hand at a new healing spell. Muscle preserving, I want to see whether I can maintain the same muscle strength without having to train it over and over in order to maintain muscle strength. Results, I'm not sure. I think I've done it and I haven't felt my muscles become weaker, but not enough time has passed to determine that so I'm not sure.

I finish my run to see that someone is awake.

"Morning."(Luis)

"Morning."

"Going somewhere?"

"Yes, to Mary-chan's house. Also, I am going to Mari-chan's house tomorrow, wanna come?

"Is...that okay?"

"She said it was fine if you wanted to come."

" I'll think about it then, I already lost yesterday's practice so..."

"If that's the reason you are ditching then I'm bringing Mary-chan to convince you."

"Okay, I'll go, I should probably let loose once a week, it's not like I urgently have to get strong, I just want to see how far can I get this power to go. So see you then"

"See you."

The rest of Sunday was uneventful, of course, if you take away the grueling training and then Monday came.

"Morning Mary."

"Morning."

Looks like now I have someone to talk to while at school. I guess things can't be that bad. The week passed, nothing eventful really happening at all. The only thing that majorly changed was that I interacted with Mary during my school days. She loves sweets and apparently Tara got her into shoujo manga. Heck, she starting to get me into shoujo manga from all the speaking. The weel passes by with me learning more about Mary and talking about anime and some manga and then Saturday came.

"Are you ready to go?"(Tara)

"Sure, let's go."

We took the train towards **** and got off. I walked a couple blocks and arrived at Mary's apartment.

"Let me call her so she can open the door for us."

"Okay."

She brings out her phone and calls.

"Yes, we are outside... Yeah, it's okay we are in no rush...Okay, bye then. She's coming down just give her a sec."

"Okay, by the way, I forgot to ask you, what are we here for?

"No reason in particular."

"So just to hang out?"

"Yes."

Mary opens the door.

"Hello, come on in"

I always thought it stupid when male protagonists were too embarrassed to walk into a girls room. But now I see their point, This is nerve-wracking as hell.

"Alright then, should we have some fun?"

"Okay"

We walk in Mary's apartment and then to her room. This is too much, should I try smelling the air, that's what guys in anime do anyways, but the wouldn't it be weird if I gave this room a real whiff. However, before that, I was looking forward to something else.

"Then are we gonna play some games."(Luis)

"Yeah!"

Mary has a lot of different consoles and games. She plays a lot so we aren't as good as her but we still have fun playing. We played for 5 hours until we got kind of tired of playing.

"My knees hurt so much."(Tara)

"Why do your knees hurt?"(Luis)

"It's because of all this sitting around."

"I've been sitting around too, and my knees don't hurt."

"Well, maybe it is because of all the praying I do, since I'm such a saint, you know."

She set herself up.

"... I guess if you do that for a long time it becomes a religion."(Luis)

"What do you-you little-"

"What does he mean by that Tara?"(Mary)

"Ummm, nothing, nothing at all?"(Tara)

Thank you, Mary, I've been saved so many times by your intervention. Mary stands up and searches for something in her wardrobe.

"So....um... I was wondering if it was okay to give you both....something to commemorate our friendship."(Mary)

"Yes?"(Luis

"What is it Mary-chan?"(Tara)

"I wanted to give you both these bracelets...to...um, show our friendship."She said as she pulled out three small bracelets they thin and had three different colors, pink, white and black. "Will...you take them?"

"Yes!!!"(Tara)

Isn't this a bit too, I can't find the right words? They both look at me since I haven't answered. Peer pressure is always an amazing thing.

"Yes."(Luis)

"Great, the black is for Luis, white for Tara and pink for me."

"Thanks"(Luis)

"Thank you!"(Tara)

Mary was happy and then took a deep breath in and then a deep breathe out.

"I also have something else that's very important to say."

"Yes?"(Both)

"I'll be leaving for all of summer vacation right after finals!"
