The Novel's Fake Protagonist

[PROJECT ABANDONED] One day Jacob Riser after a convoluted series of events found himself in the world of his Novel. Knowing that the future of this world isn't so bright. Jacob took artistic liberties and quite literally took the place of his incompetent but talented MC Alex Skyward. "I'd probably be a better Main Character anyway" *** Just so there aren't any misunderstandings I want to say a few things, the mc { Jacob } is a very flawed individual so don't expect him to think much before or after killing someone, his morality is shaky and he is a very egotistical person. Don't worry he definitely won't stay like this. please read at least the prologue and the first arc before reviewing, Thank you also the cover isn't mine so if the owner wishes for me to take it down I will do so.

Getting Into Routine

"No, I just do as my talent says, I think I was able to create this sword style by combining my swordsmanship talent with my instinct talent." I replied to Alice.

"Hold on, what did you say just now? Can you repeat that?"

"I just do as my talent sa-" I was interrupted by her.

"The other thing..."

"I was able to create my sword style by combining my talents"

"Impossible, someone like an Arc-swordsman must have taught you that sword style. It's impossible for someone inexperienced to create a sword style, particularly a sword style as strong as yours.

"You are forgetting something? Back home in Ronia, there is no Arc-swordsman, hell there are barely any adventurers there. Also, I don't know basic swordsmanship. If I did know wouldn't it be impossible for you to disarm me the first time I attempted to attack? My talent only told me where to strike but not how to strike so that's why the battle turned out the way it did" I watched as her face slowly changed her expression as I was talking.

"Did I convince you?"

I could see a slight frown on her face, and honestly, I understand why she trained very hard to attain her mastery of the sword, so my existence was probably something close to a spit in the face.

'I feel bad'

"I have a deal for you. You help me learn swordsmanship and in turn, I teach you my sword style. What do you say?"

"No. That's not a fair deal, a sword style is way more valuable than basic swordsmanship, even if I did accept how would you even teach a talent-dependent sword style to someone who lacks the required talent"

"It is a fair deal, I need to learn the basics so I can hold the sword properly and attack properly, with my current capabilities I doubt I can successfully attack someone who has Standard Swordsmanship. As for how I would go about teaching my sword style to someone who lacks the Instinct talent. I have a few ideas that I'm certain will work, for example, have you heard of Negative Mana Space?"

"Are you saying you want to use an assassination technique for training?"

"Exactly" I grinned.

Alice paused for a moment before speaking "Now that I think about it, isn't this a perfect way for someone to develop their instinct since it's the only thing they can feel, because Negative Mana Space stops the function of sight, smell, hearing touch, and taste. It makes sense I can't believe it, how did you come up with something like this?"

"It's simple really, I just used my brain,"

"Okay then, you got yourself a deal, let's train every weekday early morning. Does that work for you, Alex"

"That works" I replied nonchalantly.

Next day

I finished training with Alice earlier today and I also slept through the Monster and Dungeon Theory class because I believe I already know what they are talking about, and if I forget by the time I need to take the tests that will be a problem for future me.

For the optional classes, I attended the Mana Application Practice and I believe I was close in Reinforcing the tip of my finger with mana, besides that I also attended Swordsmanship in Theory and Practice.

As I was leaving the classroom I was ambushed by a beautiful red-haired half-demon half-elf, also known as Catherine Rosaria.

"Alex! When do you plan to show up to the student council?" Said Catherine.

"If you don't show up, you will lose your position as Vice President and you will also lose the privileges that come with that position."

"Wait, there's privileges. Why didn't I know about this." I replied.

"What kind of privileges exactly." I added.

"The best one is being able to leave the campus even on weekdays. There's more but this one is by far the best." Catherine spoke as she awaited my reaction.

"My lady, my dear friend, Ms. President shall we make our way to the Student Council Room" I took a page out of her book and called her an embarrassingly long name.

"Hey, only I'm allowed to do that Mr. super talented egotistic protagonist.

"Where does It say that only you can do that?" I retorted.

"You're so childish" Said Catherine.

"Says the childish one"

"You know what, you win Let's just go to the student council room we got work to do"

"Like what?"

"Like managing club finances and looking for members, I mean we just started." She said in a tone that implied what she was saying to be obvious.

"Managing club finances you say... Looking for members you say... I have someone in mind, I will meet you at the Student Council room with them." I said as I walked away.

"Catherine, I brought our Treasurer" I said as I opened the door.

Catherine took a good look at the person I brought in and said "Oh you are Kageyama Izumi the wielder of Information Magic"

"It's an honor to speak to The Princess"

"Did Alex force you to come here?" Said Catherine as she glanced at me.

I stayed quiet.

"No, the second I was offered to come here I agreed" Said Izumi with a smile.

I'm willing to bet that he was a member of the Student Council back on Earth.

"I'd be happy to be The Treasurer. That is if you allow me to."

"You are in, Student Council meetings are every weekday after class. Make sure you show up, that goes for you too Vice President." She turned her head to face me when she spoke the second sentence.

"Fine, I will show up. Anyway, having a new member in the student council calls for a celebration" I said as I revealed a bottle of white rum and a bottle of wine.
