Fight for a Guild House

The now group of seven went to Samael's residence, it has become the de facto meeting place before they get a guild residence. Six of them were sitting down and a dwarf was standing in front of Sami his body shaking with eagerness.

"I'll join your guild, now tell me what that material is."

"Well sure, It's called an Aether Orb, aether is an ancient and extremely rare element, I believe there may be only 5 people in the world that can use it today including me." Samael answered.

Sami had thought about and decided there was no point hiding the Aether element too much, as even if people know he can use it what can they do, he is a Forte after all and no sane person wants bad luck.

The dwarf's eyes unsurprisingly lit up, he was a genius forger and what forgers love doing most is finding or creating a new material and this beloved thing just happened.

"Can you show me the Aether element?" Thorus said eagerly.

Awa also looked excited since this is her first time learning about Aether as well. Samael sighed but he still released his aura, a chaotic and archaic air spread throughout the room, it felt like an ancient beast waking up from a eon long slumber. The rhythm that the starry galaxy like aura made felt like a heartbeat, slow and powerful, Samael retracted his aura returning the room to peace.

Alice sighed breaking the silence, "No matter how many times I see I always be amazed, aura can be so beautiful but also so horrifyingly dangerous, also Awa we never asked but will you join our guild."

Awa looked around at the six people, her gazing finally focusing on Samael, "Yes I will."

"It's a pleasure to have you join us." Samael said stretching out his hand, "Ms Rank 1"

"I asked the question, why is she answering to Samael." Alice grumbled.

Awa quickly looked down embarrassed and meekly said, "Yes I will Alice."

Alice stared into Awa's golden eyes and teased "Welcome to Void's Owl, Ms Rank 1," she was much more playful towards the elf instead of the jealousy showed earlier. I guess even the Morrigan was conquered by the gentle and pixie like personality of the elf, however, even though she doesn't dislike Awa she is still wary of the crazy bitch Bellona.

The next day, the guild members were on their way towards the Tianjiao Academy Auction house, they were excited because today was the day they could get their guild residence. Despite the fact that it is called Guild residence, all it really is, is land, the Academy does not want to spend money on guilds since they are technically independent from the school so, you need to hire someone to build it.

The way you acquire a residence is through auction, (how surprising), once again the Academy wants to earn money and auctions are a very easy way to do so. Some of the Land may not be owned by just he academy, it may be a former guilds land and now that they have disbanded/graduated they want to sell it.

They quickly reached the Auction house it had quite similar architecture to the rest of the academy, inside they received private rooms, not V.I.P boxes as the seniors would be there, the war between guilds is fierce and many seniors need to buy more land to accommodate the huge populous of their guilds.

The seven soon settled down in the private room, the auction house had 3 floors, VIP boxes at the top private rooms in the middle and normal seats at the bottom. The people in private rooms are heaven class freshman and the weaker seniors. The people at the bottom are members of guilds, they are here to give money to their leaders if the funds come short.

A middle aged man came on to the stage, he would be the auctioneer today, there is no need for a femme fatale do this job as the people here now what they want. (I'm talking to you Midas Pavilion, trying to seduce your customers disgusting.)

"Hello everybody, My name is James and I will be the organiser today, as you know we will be only selling Guild Residences in this auction, for freshman the way this will work is I will show you a picture of the residence, quote the price then you can bid."

"What you are actually buying is the deed for the land and that will be the only proof the school will accept when you say you own the land. If you want to know how rent works, it will just be 5% of your total income once you start making a profit. This rent can be in the form of anything valuable we just want 5%."

Clap! "Well lets begin."

"The First residence, is a 10,000 square metre flatland located near the outskirts of the Academy's territory, it will go for 3000 high tier stones and a minimum increase of 50 stones."

The bids had began. The price quickly rose breaking through the 5000 mark, even though land is not in the best location the sheer size of it eliminates that drawback furthermore the starting price is quite cheap. In the end a freshman bought it for 7,250 stones.

Many residences were sold but none attracted the seven, so the auction continued.

Around the third quarter of the auction, a beautiful piece of land appeared on the screen, it was quite close to the school but it also had space to expand. It was surrounded by forest so to expand you obviously had to cut down the trees.

"This is a 5,000 square metre piece if land, it is 8km (roughly 5 miles) from the main buildings and the forest around it can be expanded into, we will sell this extended land to you with a 25% discount. The price is 5500 high tier stones, with a minimum increase of 100 stones."

As soon as the man finished talking Alice stood up and said, "This will be our guild."

Info of the day - Daemons

Daemons are direct descendants of Devils that decided to live in the VERUS world and have a lifespan of 1000yrs as mortals and a reproductive ability equal to elves (Low).

Daemons are an assortment of creatures they can look humanoid or beast-like they normally have red or purple coloured skin. The stronger/purer the bloodline the more the Daemon looks like a human.

Daemons focus on selling services for equivalent exchange however most of the daemons still earn more as they are a tricky species and everything the say or do may be part of an elaborate plan.

Daemons can use every element but are more common in elements of Curse, Poison, Fire, Dark and Lava.

Almost all Demons live in the Demon continent a huge piece of land that is connected to the Malum Realm. Then they're are kingdoms for each race that are in turn vassals to the purebred devil empress. Meaning the Empress is the true ruler of the country.
