Revelation II

"Huh? What's this?"

"That's what the doctor wanted to say to you. You guys had already left so he has given all the details in this. It would be better if you read it once we reach the dorm. "

Cyril spoke as he opened the door to the passengers seat.

"Hmm. OK. "

Seojin didn't ask much even though the file had intrigued him. He had wanted to open and read it right and then.

He may have not shown it, but he himself was feeling weird about his self. They said his subconscious mid blocked all the painful memories but he still remembered the memories he considered painful.

Yeon's and Cyril's reaction to him answering those questions felt like as if they never knew him at all. And when the boys said that he hated blueberries, it was a surprise to him as he couldn't even remember himself hating the flavor or the fruit.

Despite all this, there was one thought that prevailed. Something he had realised from the time he had regained consciousness two weeks ago in the hospital.

That something had changed in him. That something was different from before... But what was it ? Where or why did he change?

Blank.

And what did he do in the past six months? Anything other than his practice sessions, and his missions? It was all a blank question, even his interactions with his group. It was all blank.

And everytime he thought about it, it felt like his mind would burst, as if someone was pulling out his heart.

"Hyung! "

Ryan's voice pulled him back from his reverie.

"We were thinking of going to CEO tomorrow since you are already discharged, we have to give the official statement to our fans as well right ?"

"Sure Ry, let's go tomorrow itself. "

He answered, steering towards the turn that took them towards their apartment complex.

That's right, they were still an idol group in the public eye, a beloved one, fortunately.

It didn't take him long to park. The boys had already gotten out before he parked their car.

As he got out of his seat, he looked around to check if they had forgotten something and that's when his eyes fell on the file places near the dashboard.

"Sir! You are back, how are you now? Are you better? "

The lift operator asked, smiling..

"Huh? Y-yeah I am fine. Better now actually.. "

Seojin bowed back awkwardly.

The operator was surprised that he didn't say any dad joke today. But decided to be quite about it thinking that the man must be tired. After all he had just been discharged from the hospital.

"Have a good day sir. "

"Oh hyung, you are here. "

Christian smiled as he looked at his hyung who reflected his smile back.

"We are gonna be preparing today's dinner, freshen up quick hyung "

"Thank you Chris. "

Seojin patted on the others shoulder before he walked towards his room.

That was when Christian's gaze fell on the shoe rack.

"Yah, what are you thinking? Looks like you saw something super strange"

Taeil marvelled as he plated the salad beautifully on the ceramic dish adorned with a huge white squirrel in the center.

"Yeah you look like you saw some snake bruh!"

Jae woo too agreed, picking a few carrots from tthe vegetables the other was cutting as he jumped slightly, perching himself perfectly on the kitchen top.

"Because it IS very strange bro, remember how Jin hyung used to nag us like hell all the time whenever we came home from somewhere, just because we didn't place the shoes in the correct racks?"

"Yeah of course we remember, its been happening for ten years after all lol"

Taeil chuckled sheepishly.

"Yeah, exactly, but hyung didn't say a single thing today even though he saw all our shoes in disarray, I had actually even gone to arrange them before he came but he came right as I was about to , and didn't even say anything "

"There's nothing strange in that dude. you're just being dramatic Chris.."

Taeil shook his head as he placed the last cucumber in the center of the plate before marveling at his own creation.

"Yah, he simply means that hyung must be tired, that's why mustn't have said anything. "

Ryan spoke from behind the kitchen counter as he tossed the vegetables.

"Hmm, I guess. "

Christian shrugged, pushing the thought to the back of his head as he placed the plates on the table.

"Cyril, go call everyone please. Dinner's ready. "

And then Ryan placed the final dish on the dining table.

" Thanks for the meal. "

They all said in unison before digging in.

"Oh hyung, why are you not eating the garlics? "

They had already been half way through the meal when Taeil had realized that Seojin wasn't eating all his garlics, and instead picking them and placing them a the side of his plate..

"Right, earlier I also saw you eat just one and then pick out the rest from your plate hyung"

Jae woo too had noticed his hyung's weird action.

"Ahh, that's because now I'm allergic to garlic.

I found out abput it when I was in the hospital. Nowadays I start getting itchy and swollen if I eat too much garlic, so I'm trying to not eat as much. it hapened after i regained consciousness. i was red all over after meal. it was really annoying."

Seojin smiled, embarrassed at the thought that he might have appeared like some little kid picking at his food despite being the eldest.

"That's new , we didn't know you were allergic to garlics ! I'd have put less garlic then. "

Ryan's frown melted when he heard Seojin's reply.

"It's okay Ry, even I didn't know till recently. So it's fine. "

Ryan smiled as he took another bite of his food.

"Also, I wanted to change the interior of my room a bit...it's too dirty now.. "

"Hyung I can help you "

Christian, being the angel he is was the first one to offer help upon hearing the eldest.

"But what do you want to change ? I'll come with you if you are going for shopping, I also have some stuff to buy. I was planning to buy some equipment for my cams, also I wanted to buy some sneaker's , my old one's are pretty ragged since "

Jae woo spoke, his mouth stuffed with food.

"Ah, no actually the room is too pink for my liking, I don't even know what was I thinking when I chose that color , so I was planning to change the wallpapers and all haha "

Seojin let out a little chuckle as he looked at his brothers, unaware of the awkward glances and a confused silence that soon followed.
