The New Guy

Completed. "If you leave me like this, I'm afraid this here", he tapped his index finger on the right temple of his head and grinned, "will finally snap." ______________________________________________________ When Yoon Se Ah, an ordinary office worker, meets Lee Min Hyun, their department's new intern, she thinks of him no more than a fool in love. However, as their relationship develops, her life makes its turn for the worst, throwing her at his mercy in the end. Turns out that Min Hyun, the very same guy that was groveling at Se Ah's feet is actually a dangerous and unstable person who has been obsessed with her ever since their first encounter. And he knows the dark truth about the past she's been trying so hard to hide from everybody else. With Min Hyun's unsettling feelings, his dangerous family drama, and Se Ah's own contradicting desires, who is the actual bad guy there? And will both of them get what they want in the end? This story is about two mentally broken people who cannot give one another what they want, even though deep inside they wish they would find solace in each other, thus, although there is no "real" romance, they still manage to form their own twisted connection, and they don't really mind it. WARNING: This story contains very mature and sometimes graphic content and touches upon unpleasant and uncomfortable topics.

I got dressed up and called Choi Seol who prepared the car in less than five minutes. Min Hyun's people's efficiency never ceased to impress me.

"Where are we going, Miss Seo?"

It has been a while since I was last asked that question. Who would have thought that I would come to miss riding in cabs?

"This address, please."

"Are you sure?"

His eyes widened at me as he saw the address line in the text message sent by Yang Min Seok. I could not understand what made him so surprised - the meeting spot was not that far from Min Hyun's house and I bet he managed to peek at the name of the sender so there was nothing to be worried about, but Choi Seol's face still grew all dark and serious.

"Let's just go, Seol, I don't like being late."

"... I understand."
