Inspector Gwendolyn Salazar vocally intoned while glaring at the tall raven-haired man beside her, but Julius just smiled at her, so she was even more annoyed with him, and the girl just sighed. "Let's work together again just like old times," the reporter suddenly stated, causing the lady to stop walking and look at him. "You're right but we're here for work not reminiscing the past, Reporter Julius Park so please keep your distance first." she reminded then leaving Julius alone in the area, Edward shook his head then approached his friend who was now stunned while looking at the back of the inspector who had left. "Stop teasing her because she's annoyed with you," he said. Julius immediately came to his senses and faced the detective with a sad smile. "Is it bad to wish that you could bring back the past?" he said softly.
He and Inspector Salazar, or should we call her Gwen and Julius were a couple back then in their high school lives. Many people are jealous of them because of the strength of their relationship, and many even joke that maybe they will end up in marriage, but their relationship has never been different from a normal relationship. They immediately stopped the investigation, and all their colleagues immediately returned to the station. The news that they found the evidence spread quickly, so when they arrived at the police station, they were joined by reporters from different news stations.
"Right now we have not determined the contents of the evidence we gathered," Edward explained to reporters because he was also one of those assigned to examine the evidence while Julius was inside the station talking to other colleagues of the detective, many of whom looked down on him because he was able to get the news quickly because he had a connection from the inside. "We should send it to some expert; we can't leave the case open, and we also need to confirm that the three murder cases are connected." Gwen said that even if Marina's was a robbery, there's still a good chance that it wasn't the cause of her death.
"Ed, I want to talk to the department head." Calling a policeman who came in to Edward's, the detective excused himself, left the investigation room, and went to their senior officer's office.
