Chapter 233: Ben 10 (5)

Chapter 233: Ben 10 (5)

~Mash B. POV~

[Las Vagas, Earth]

…Amazing.

There was no other way to describe this power I have felt ever since I obtained the Charms of Bezel. These Charms of Bezel are simply cheating I call it with the power of cartoon logic its stupidly busted even.

The Charms of Bezel are six magical talismans that grant the wielder different unique powers and abilities depending on the charm. The final talisman is the Keystone of Bezel, which can increase the Charms' abilities ten times over.

When I left in the morning from the desert it took a while to get to Las Vegas even for my standards but when I must be careful of a wandering superhero then every precaution is necessary. Whatever I came here to get what I needed from the good old city of sin Las Vegas.

Las Vegas, often known simply as Vegas, is the 26th-most populous city in the United States, the most populous city in the state of Nevada, and the county seat of Clark County. The city anchors the Las Vegas Valley metropolitan area and is the largest city within the greater Mojave Desert.

Landing away from the city and reaching a walking entrance way I found myself in the city as I began to check out the place in hopes of finding where the last item I needed to complete my set is at.

Remembering the show Gwen managed to find it by looking through the booths that had magical artifacts and if my luck was good searching for the place I needed then…

Observing around I see just the booth in question as I couldn't help how busted my charm is but only if there was a possibility of it going their way in the first place. Good thing finding it first is possible in the first place.

Seeing the Keystone of Bezel, I used the telekinesis to simply take it away from the booth without anyone noticing thanks again for the busted luck. And moved along my day but when I got hold of it, I simply felt empowered.

But just to be certain… [TOOS].

----

Item: The Key Stone of Bezel

Rarity Item: S

Type: Charm

Description: The Keystone of Bezel increases all the natural powers, abilities, and skills of the possessor, and amplifies the power of the charms tenfold.

----

Perfect. Man, this is what you call busted as hell.

Just as I was about to go away from Las Vegas and good thing nothing happened yet seeing that my luck and my boosted luck were already taking effect. I wonder how effective the Charms are now outside their native universe.

But this is merely part one of my goal. Hahaha…

The Charm of Luck and Probability: The charm of luck quite literally reverses Murphy's Law, meaning it grants the wielder supernaturally good luck. This causes anything and everything to go their way, but only if there is a possibility of it going their way in the first place. It makes all the possessor's endeavors succeed in a good way, however any opponents that may happen to be nearby suffer from increased misfortune.

This bad boy is busted as hell and only by pure luck that Ben managed to knock this over from his body. The same luck that made Gwen or Lucky Girl too broken but add this with Keystone of Bezel then will see some real bullshit levels of luck my way.

Wearing Shinra Koketsu and fucking with plot in more ways than one I began to enjoy my time here for a bit. Of course, I'll ignore the aliens and troublemakers since Vilgax would probably be eyeing me more directly.

As a precaution, I cast a spell on myself to not be found by the Charmcaster of another magic user. Just as a safety precaution.

When I found a place for myself isolated from anyone due to my [Bounded Field] I began to take out the Chrono Navigator. Touching the Chrono Navigator ensuring I have everything correct in the right place and time. And…

*Shiii*

Opening up a tear in time using my Charm of Telekinesis I managed to take out a spherical glowing ball of energy I took it with glee. Using my Moon Cell Bracelet it began to de-materialize the sphere in question into its database back in the Moon Cell.

What it was is Azmuth memories when Albino forcibly took his knowledge and tried to implant it into himself. I simply took it from an earlier timeline of events that Ben Again never occurred and took it for myself with Albino killing his Azmuth.

And it worked too with some luck and probability because of the Keystone of Bezel boosting me tenfold and that included the charms as well. With that setup, I was more curious as to why they didn't show up yet.

I can certainly tell I'm at the beginning of the series but then again though I could be wrong and placed inside one of the branching alternate futures of Ben's prime timelines as shown from Paradox to Prime Ben.

Or with me stealing Ben's Omnitrix this early caused a ripple effect that made the heroes cease to exist. Food for thought but I feel this was easy enough since I haven't gotten someone to get in my way to leave this universe.

Since I have my magic aspect down I might as well hurry along and finish up the technological aspect. Originally, the Charms of Bezel were not magic, instead, they were advanced Bezelian technology that seemed magic to Earth. This was retconned in Omniverse, as Bezel was revealed to be a person.

What I need is the power of technology is what I need. Luckily, I knew just what to do. I just have to hope that the heroes don't show up to ruin my day.

At least I should be civil about this with them but if they start demanding then I better start running. Fortunately, the Charm of Resurrection helps recharge my stamina when I use my charms as I have a busy schedule to do but first time to get some high-tech weapons. And that is at Mount Rushmore.

The Mount Rushmore National Memorial often referred to as Mt. Rushmore is a location on Earth that was used as a Plumbers base. In Secrets, Mt. Rushmore was revealed to be a Plumbers base by Max.

It was shown to have multiple pieces of technology, including an arsenal of heavy weapons, all of which could be accessed by pulling open different drawers. This technology was used to enter Vilgax's ship and rescue Ben.

But before I do any of that though the next place, I should get first is to get myself the ability to control technology a Technopath to be exact. Another step needs to be taken next and that's to get the artifact of Dominus Librium.

The Dominus Librium is an ancient artifact believed to be of alien origin. It can absorb the powers of others. It was hidden on a remote island, protected by a gauntlet of traps and stone monsters, but Kevin and Darkstar were able to steal it and escape.

They both used it to remove their powers and mutated appearances. Afterward, Darkstar stole the artifact from Kevin and fled. Like that, I was very busy and began to go towards the sky once everyone didn't notice of course and I began to search the seas in the series The Hidden Island.

And with my Charms of bullshit luck, I would find it soon enough. All it was a matter of time…

/////

[Under Sea, Earth]

Now. This is what I'm talking about.

These charms are busted when they are all together like this makes me feel powerful, I just must be smart about this. Glancing at the island and finally reaching the inside of it found the artifact I was looking for using my Charm of Telekinesis to take me there and form a barrier already to keep some air supply.

Man, I like magic and technology. But I caught my prize by seeing the Dominus Librium it was made of gold and had bull-shaped ears. [TOOS].

----

Item: Dominus Librium

Rarity Item: A

Type: Power Drainer

Description: It was originally used to cancel out the powers of two individuals. This would be done by having the two beings hold each side of the Librium and have their energy/power cancel each other out. A weakness is The Dominus Librium is known to be very sensitive when absorbing the powers of others.

----

Using the Charm of Telekinesis I began to take the Dominus Librium away from the now-activated island into my [GoB]. When I did so it trigged as it began to collapse as I took hold of it.

It was originally used to cancel out the superpowers of two individuals. This would be done by having the two beings hold each side of the Librium and have their energy/power cancel each other out.

But what if one was completely normal and the other had a superpower what then would happen exactly? It would merely just transfer the power to the normal person instead without canceling them out.

I just had to be extremely careful about that as I began to leave the area out of here as fast as I could. Then using [TOOS] fully I began searching down the Summer Camp Cooper was originally in during the series.

Cooper first appeared in Ben 10 vs. the Negative 10, where his grandfather asked Max to pick Cooper up from summer camp that is the only available info, I have of Cooper existing in the earlier parts of the series.

I ain't waiting until the near end of the season four finale to find that out and take my chance. Nope, I'm not waiting for that, but the Charm of Luck and Probability will make my work time for everything to work in my favor.

Adding to the fact that the Keystone of Bezel already boosting the charms and everything already gave me plot armor. And speaking about plot armor…

*Shiii*

Using my Gamer Ring I opened a portal immediately leaving right outside Cooper's Summer Camp. I just smiled at the additional loops I must make for myself here. Sigh… and that's not even the worst of it.

*Beep*

And yet luck is in my favor to see the info regarding the information about Cooper's whereabouts where the kid is. Like I have said before though the charms are busted when they are all together like this.

I love it when the power of plot armor is on my side. Is this what it feels like to be the protagonist? Meh. Up next technopath powers!

/////

[Summer Camp, Earth]

Exiting out from the portal away from the camp I see Cooper right out there in the open playing with his phone with no supervision. Seriously? You would think for a Summer Camp there would be someone paying attention.

Shooting a shadowy hand of my Authority of Envy, [Overzealous Thief] I managed to steal Cooper's natural ability for myself. He froze stunned as my hand swiftly returned to me as I gained a new skill.

[Ding!]

[You have stolen the skill [Technopathy] from Cooper!]

[Skill: [Technopathy] is gained!]

Skill List.

----

<Technopathy > (Active) Lv. 1/100 Exp: 0.0%

Description: The user is a technopath; a psychic with the ability to perceive, receive, transmit, and interface with technological objects like electronic machinery, signals, and hardware, as well as communicate with computerized informational data, and manipulate all kinds of technology without the need of physical interaction to technology and machines using only the psychic power of their mind; while most users can only perceive, receive, transmit, communicate and interface with technology, stronger users can exert psychokinetic-like control over technological constructs, such as computers, robots, hardware, and other working devices that can be termed as "technology".

This power is normally achieved through a mental link, with some rarer cases requiring the interface through the physical touch of an object. In a variety of ways, technopaths are considered very similar to telepaths in function, as telepaths can read the thoughts of others at will and detect the presence of other minds through extrasensory means, even controlling the minds living beings; however, in the case with technopaths, "living beings" are replaced with machines and technology, allowing the user to "hear" what a machine is "thinking", and see what they can see, establishing a direct line of communication with the machine.

Stronger users can control the flow of intricate machinery, assemble or disengage their programming at will, and operate most technology at a distance, controlling specific electronics and instructing them concerning which items to engage or disengage and may be able to use the electric impulses to gently control smaller metal parts.

Unlike regular [Technology Manipulation], which can achieved through a variety of means such as telekinesis, reality warping, tech-based magics, and even in some cases through electromagnetic powers; [Technopathy] can only be gained through the psychic power of the mind and is also able to manipulate technology similarly to technokinetics especially within stronger users.

Technopaths also can't be compared to powers like technological telepathy as it requires a machine to give its user regular telepathic powers, or Cyberpathy, which enables its user to communicate and understand solely the inner workings of technology like the internet/cyberspace data, acting as a lesser version of technopathy and a sub-power in stronger users.

Smirking at this feeling of a link to the Moon Cell using my new [Technopathy] skill it felt oddly weird for me. But unique all the same next on the agenda is finding me some Nanomachine son.
