Chapter 117: Battle of Servants (1)
~Third POV~
[Sighisoara Church]
As he finished his prayers, the Assyrian queen manifested behind Shirou with her usual haughty demeanor of the news, "Lancer was intercepted by the Saber of Black just before he could eliminate Ruler…"
Shirou stood up kneeling from his prayer asked of the situation in a polite tone, "Then the Great Holy Grail War has officially started."
Semiramis nodded as she smiled revealing greater news making Shirou smile at the intending enemy Servants, "Yes, but I even have greater news. It seems like the Saber of Black have been defeated by the combined efforts of Saber of Red and their Master but failed to eliminate Ruler but at least that's one Servant down."
Shirou composed himself pondering the news in a calm tone taking what he could from the information, "At the very least that's 5 or 6 Servants to be watch out for. With Assassin being rogue and what of our ally?"
*Oaaaa*
A dove soon came through the window as Semiramis smiled receiving the news of Saber of Red's duo, "It appears that Saber and her Master have infiltrated Trifas."
Shirou smiled seeing how things were progressing at a pleasant pace for him speaking in a neutral tone, "As expected, they move fast…. However, this is the Great Holy Grail War. A Servant acting on her own will serve as a tempting target for the enemy."
Semiramis soon asked voicing light concern for the duo in a lighthearted tone, "Then shall we send them reinforcements?"
Shirou shook his head denying the possibility of speaking in a neutral tone eyeing his Servant gaze meeting, "That would be rude to him after he refused to fight with us."
Semiramis soon laughed at the idea of using them to gather more information about the enemy Servants in a proud tone, "…kuku. It'd be nice if they stir up the enemy and draw out as much information about the Black Camp as possible, though."
He nodded agreeing which led to Shirou discussing the next topic in a serious tone getting her attention, "Assassin how is your Noble Phantasm progressing? We should have gathered all the sufficient materials, correct?"
Semiramis nods her head informing her Master of the news production of her Noble Phantasm in the works, "Yes. All that's left is to perform the ritual to make it become my noble phantasm. It should be ready in a few days."
Shriou nods his head and then gives the next set of commands once his Assassin is prepared says, "Understood. We'll attack Trifas once it's ready."
*Thud*
Knocking through the door came the Caster of the Red Faction Shakespeare, The World's Greatest Playwright coming through the door, "Ooh, Master! You also seem to be in a good mood, Assassin-dono."
Shirou seeing Shakespeare enter asked in a curious tone of Caster coming inside, "If it isn't Caster. What brings you here?"
Shakespeare asks in an embarrassed tone bowing down lightly, "I have come to report to you."
Semiramis looked annoyed having a bad feeling as she said, "What is it? Out with it already."
Expressing a serious stern look Shakespeare overdramatically reported the information, "Berserker has begun walking towards Trifas."
Shirou calmly took the situation that occurred with Berserker analyzing the possibility of stopping Berserker in a calm tone, "It seems he has ascertained the enemy he needs to defeat. Archer is chasing after him, but she only has a 50-50 chance of stopping him. No, her attempt will probably fail. Caster you're the one who incited Berserker aren't you?"
Shakespeare took the accusation with no shame laughing it off with no worries as he answered in a dramatic tone, "It was nothing like incitement. I merely chatted with him. About Lancer of Black, who seems to be the Legendary Impaler."
Assassin sighed at the news thoroughly annoyed by Caster's actions, "Sigh… you really are unbelievable…"
Shirou soon explains to the Servants he'll have his hands busy after Berserker's actions today in a nonchalant tone, "… It can't be helped. Request Archer to act as Berserker's rear support. However, strictly order her to retreat should the situation turn disadvantageous. That Berserker definitely won't let himself be stopped by anyone. I'm going to have to go deal with the damages left in Berserker's wake, so I won't be able to do anything for a while. I'm the moderator for the Holy Grail War, sent by the church after all."
Shirou soon left the two Servants with Shakespeare being overdramatic of the development spouting the future, "O calamity, thou has finally begun to move. Now, go and act as thou wilt!"

[Trifas, Fortress of Yggdmillenia]
Observing through cameras the members of the Black Faction were watching the fight unfold of Saber of Red and Master decimate the forces inside Trifas with each Servant frowning that their comrade the Saber of Black was killed off by the Master when Gordes returned informing them of the news.
However, a new issue arose seeing the Berserker of Red charging through the forest with Darnic reporting every one of the news in a stern tone, "Everyone. This Servant is currently dashing through the forest without stopping straight towards this Fortress of Millennia. There's no sign of any Master with him, and he's not bothering to go into Astral Form or hide his Mana signature. He's merely running all by himself."
Everyone looked at each other gazing at the Berserker of Red with Darnic continuing in a stern tone eyeing everyone, "I believe this Servant is Berserker of Red. Based on his behavior his rank of Mad Enhancement is most likely quite high, which made him fall into a Berserker state while searching for enemies."
The Servants eyed each other not being fond of handling Berserker as Fiore asked in a serious tone, "What shall we do, oji-sama?"
Darnic replies to Fiore speaking with a confident grin on his face turning the dire situation to their advantage, "Naturally, we'll take advantage of this opportunity. Sending out 3 Servants would be enough if we wished to merely defeat him. But this is a unique chance for us in this Great War, if we do things right, we might be able to make Berserker of Red our pawn."
Vlad asked raising an eyebrow to his Master plan in a curious tone, "Tell us the details of your plan."
Darnic nodded agreeing with him explaining their plan of attack. When they were done Gordes meekly said the issue with the others in a meek tone, "Yes… but what about the Saber of Red and her Master within our land…"
Darnic sent a glare at Gordes making him flinch snorting at the failure in front of him in a disdainful tone, "Tch. Talking about you Gordes you lost Saber of Black early charging ahead alone. I'm surprised you are alive. And as for the Saber of Red and their Master…"
However, soon Caster of Black Solomon ibn Gabirol, also called Avicebron steps forward in a neutral tone, "I believe I should be able to capture him. From what Archer said he carries an Authority within him. He'll be a perfect core for my Noble Phantasm isn't that correct Archer?"
All eyes are on Archer Chiron, [The mentor of Greek Heroes] curtly nodded his head affirming Avicebron's opinion, "Yes. The Master of Saber Red has [Divinity] no matter how faint I can detect an Authority within him. But we must deal with the other Servants of Red Caster before capturing him."
Caster of Red nodded clasping his hands of the news using Mash as an ideal material to use to fuel Adam his Noble Phantasm.

[Evening, Forest of Trifas]
The man was pure muscle. His arms alone were virtually the size of a crocodile nothing covering his pectorals, but it was clear that the toughness of his body was practically armor. His legs trudged along with the force of power.
The man crashed through east of Trifas as evening set in. To the onlooker, a giant muscle hunk stood out like a sore thumb against the abundance of nature that surrounded him for he is the Berserker of Red Spartacus, [The Gladiator] yelled out loud wildly, "Hahaha! Archer, I can't follow that order. I must head to that fortress where the oppressors lie!"
Dashing madly ahead without a care in the world with Archer leaping from branch to branch, a girl clad in verdant green called out to Berserker again and again. Her cold, sharp eyes contained a beastly glint that would resonate within the modern community Atlanta, [The Huntress of Chastity] growling annoyed by his antics, "Tch. In the end, he's just a mad warrior, he's unable to properly communicate with others."
However, another member of the Red Faction Rider of Red spoke out loud catching her attention, "Well, that's how it is. Wasn't summoned into the Berserker Class for nothing, that guy."
She looked towards the source of the voice standing on one of the branches was a man with a carefree smile on his face. He looked like the image of a great hero one adored and admired by any man and woman, young and old, who looked upon him.
He is the Rider of Red Achilles, [The invincible hero of Troy] with Atlanta speaking in a cold tone towards her ally, "Rider, why did you follow me?"
Crossing his arms and smiling confidently at Atlanta's cold stare he replied in an optimistic tone, "Obviously, I was worried about you nee-san."
Turning away from his tone shocking Achilles in a blunt tone, "Is that so?"
Achilles only sighed at Atalanta's actions bringing her news from Shirou getting her immediate attention with a grin on his face, "I bring a message from Master. Our mission is to provide rear support, we're to support Berserker without pushing ourselves too far while gathering as much information as possible."
Atlanta eyed the rushing Berserker asking in a cold tone about his fate leaning towards the tree, "So we're to treat Berserker as a disposable pawn and investigate the enemy… is that it?"
Achilles smiled agreeing with her words, "Exactly."

[Evening, Trifas]
*BOOM*
After dealing with the last of the Golems and Homunculi unconscious Mash used [Eyes of Mana] to immediately detect a large amount of Magical Energy whistling alerting Mordred and gaining her attention to his words, "Whew~ Seems like the rest of our allies seemed to have made a mad dash to here. I can see… Berserker, Archer, and Rider rushing forward into town."
Saber rushes forward to her Master's side asking their plan of attack in a curious tone, "In that case what's our goal, Master? Should we group with them, or shall we proceed to attack the enemy within their territory?"
Mash quickly thought of a plan considering Saber's words before finally answering her question in a neutral tone, "Hmm… those are good choices. And I did promise you a fight so… go ahead. I'll follow you since I'm gonna need a few things from here. I trust you to bash some skulls."
Saber grinned under her helmet already knowing where to go in a confident tone, "Heh. At least I won't have to worry about your sorry ass. Now… I need some good old-fashioned punching bag because today… I choose violence."
*VOOOM*
Vanishing out of sight and charging into battle Mash sighed shaking his head and making his way towards the Fortress of Millennia in a calm manner.
