Saturday Morning, 21st. March. 2015
I opened my eyes. The morning light pouring in from the window blinded me. After a moment I adjusted to see Yoongi asleep. His breaths were soft and his skin had a dewy glow. The tender pink of his slightly chapped lips and the way his hair is messily askew. I used the precious moment I had been given to take it all in.
As my mind drifts to the night before, I remember that we'd fallen asleep listening to some piano melodies. As I peer up I notice my laptop is closed and that my blanket was over us…
Had Yoongi put on? He also had the blanket over him… If so, that was sweet of him. I knew he'd been tired yesterday so I didn't want to wake him up, I wanted him to sleep well and recover his energy.
But, a loud knock on the door echoed through my apartment and Yoongi stirred. I pulled off the blanket and got up to answer the door.
"Morning!" Hobi's smile shined like the morning sun as he greeted me.
"Morning" I replied, attempting to return his smile but my cheeks wouldn't pull that far up this early after waking up.
"So um, Yoongi wouldn't happen to be here, would he?" He proceeded to say, glancing behind me into my apartment.
"Yeah he is, did you want to come in? He's still sleeping" I offered, stepping aside.
"Thanks, yeah. Sorry to drop in so suddenly but Yoongi and I have some work we need to get done today" Hoseok explained. As he walked past me, the faint aroma of orange and jasmine hit my nose.
"No that's fine, he was just so tired yesterday that he passed out after walking me home from school" I closed the door behind us.
"Ah, he's such a cutie. Look at him" Hobi giggled, spotting Yoongi curled up under the blanket snugly on the couch.
"Yeah, he is cute" I mumbled quietly as I followed him over.
"Wakey wakey Yoongi-ah" Hoseok teased as he sat at the edge of the couch and gave him a small shake. Yoongi groaned as he raised his head, squinting, struggling to keep his eyes open.
"Hoba, is that you?" He rubbed his face before looking around towards me. I crawled back onto the couch and put the blanket over my lap.
"Yeah. You gotta get up, we have to finish production today so we can make it for the group dinner tonight" Hobi said, before sparing me a soft glance.
"Ughhhh. Alright. Give me a minute" Yoongi sat up and peered around disoriented, hair whisked aside messily. Hoseok went over to the kitchen and poured a glass of water then came back to give it to Yoongi. After a little while, he got up and went to the bathroom leaving Hoseok and me sitting on the couch.
"Oh, by the way, Jimin and Tae are coming to pick you up to do some shopping for dinner tonight," Hobi said, stretching his arms over his head before lying back on the blanket.
"Joon never did get back to me about it so I wasn't sure if it was still happening" I explained. He lulled his head aside to look at me.
"Oh, he's been pretty busy. It probably just slipped his mind. I thought as much." He pursed his lips, soft cheeks puffing out slightly, "Anyway, just be ready by the time Jimin and Tae come to get you."
"Sure, alright. Thanks for letting me know." I replied, beginning to feel excited about tonight. It sounded like it was going to be a good time.
After Yoongi came out the two of them went on their way, leaving me on my own to wait for Jimin and Tae. Seeing as I didn't have an exact time for when they'd arrive I decided to check my emails.
As I opened up the tab I noticed one regarding a job request to an advertisement that I'd uploaded for ghost-writing. I'd forgotten to take it down after getting accepted by Big Hit.
Upon opening it I was left stunned. It was from a very well-known company. YG Entertainment. I was taken aback that they'd reached out to me, and as I read the email it became apparent that they wanted me as part of their writing team.
This was a rare opportunity, one that I suddenly felt guilty about. It wasn't like my contract with Big Hit was exclusive. Nowhere had it been stated that I couldn't write for any other companies, so, why did I feel like it was wrong of me to want to accept the job request?
I mulled it over a little longer, still feeling unsure of what to do... But, in the end, I came to a decision. I would accept the request and, maybe just try not to mention it to any of the boys… I didn't want them to feel like I was cheating on them?
It wasn't like that… I just, this kind of thing was something I just couldn't pass up. YG had some of the most popular groups out. I'd be a fool to turn it down. Especially seeing as I was still studying and not even fully qualified…
I realised it was nearly 1 o'clock already so I snapped my laptop shut and went to go and get ready. I was still wrapped in a towel and halfway through drying my hair when I heard the doorbell.
"Hold on!" I yelled out as I rushed over to my wardrobe to try and find something to throw on, but I could hear Jimin and Tae impatiently nagging me on the other side of the door to open up.
"Helloooo~ Anyone home?" Jimin's voice called out.
"What're you doing?" Tae's voice followed.
"Quick Jia~" Jimin nagged, followed by another barrage of knocks.
I gave up, holding my towel more tightly as I hurried over and opened it for them. Straight after I ran back to the bathroom and hid behind the door.
"Hey, sorry, I'm not ready yet! Just wait for me!" I yelled over to them as they both stepped in. They looked so tall from here.
"Ohhhh" Tae smiled cheekily, Jimin closed the door before peering over to where I had my head peeking out, trying to get a better look.
"Okay, don't be too long" he laughed cheekily before pulling Tae away with him. I couldn't see exactly where they'd gone but I went back to drying my hair.
After finishing I realised I still didn't have any clothes to change into. Damn it. I cussed myself before carefully edging back out of the bathroom and peering around the corner, Tae and Jimin had made themselves comfortable on my bed together.
"Hey! Can you guys close your eyes?" I yelled out to them, hoping they'd just do it and not make a fuss.
"Huh? Why?" Tae lay down and peered over to me, trying to get a look at me. He totally knew why, I felt a little wave of shyness hit me.
"Tae, stop it" Jiminie giggled, hitting him playfully on the butt. These two were out of control. But, I kinda liked it.
"I need to get changed, you guys came too early. Pleaseee, just do it" I called back, trying to just get them to take me seriously until I was at least dressed.
"Ahhh. Okay, ok. We'll close our eyes, don't worry" Jimin hummed, pulling at Tae to sit up and turn around with him, which he did.
"Okay, it's safe now" Tae said in a playful voice. So, I slowly went over, taking a peek at them to make sure they weren't looking. Staying true to their word, I rushed over to my wardrobe. Whispering and giggles came from them but I ignored it.
Instead, I grabbed the first thing I could see which was a black pleated skirt, sleeveless turtleneck top and a white V-Neck oversized jumper.
I dropped my towel and quickly snipped on a bra and slipped on some white lace underwear before throwing on my clothes.
Phew. God that was stressful. These two are so troublesome. As I turned around I saw both of them still sitting with their backs to me, but, playfully pushing each other and giggling.
"Done, you can look now" I crawled up onto the bed with them. Making sure to keep my knees tucked together to avoid skirt accidents.
"Finally" Tae turned around first. Jimin collapsed forward into the sheets and shimmied around so he was facing us.
"I'm sleepy, can we just nap instead?" He sighed. Rubbing his face into the fabric of my pillow.
"Huh?! You guys were rushing me and now you wanna sleep?" I grumbled. Jimin got an amused rouse out of my response.
"Yeah she's right, we need to go. We can nap later Jimine" Tae lightly played with his hair.
"Fine…" Jimin sighed, rubbing his eyes before sitting back up.
"Alright, let's go" Tae stood first and reached for both our wrists, dragging us to our feet at the same time. I went and packed my handbag. Both of them waited by the door for me.
Once I had everything we left my apartment together. The first place we went was the grocery store to pick up some snacks. Jimin carried the shopping basket and we strolled down the aisle. Tae occasionally picked something off the shelf and added it to the collection. We managed to decide on a tasty selection between the three of us.
Next, we stopped at the liquor store. Jimin went straight for the plum wine, as though he already knew what my choice of poison was. Tae met us at the counter with a bottle of whisky and a dozen bottles of Soju.
"You sure that'll be enough?" I joked as I approached him, only to receive a sly smile.
"Why? Are you worried about something?" Tae hummed. Jimin tapped his bank card to pay as the cashier bagged the drinks for us.
"Should I be? How drunk are you planning on getting?" I teased. Tae took the bag and Jimin turned to me, gently putting his arm behind me to usher me out of the store with them.
"It's our night off, nothing wrong with wanting to have a little fun" Jimin grinned. He wasn't wrong, I noticed how hard they all worked constantly and was glad they were taking a night off to enjoy themselves.
But, there was no doubt that 7 boys, 1 girl and a ton of drinks would spell some trouble. Right? Had I underestimated what I was getting myself into?
