Chapter 3

After meeting the pack, Sebastian and I headed to his house, or you could say our house now. I don't know if we'll be sharing a room or sleeping separately yet. We walked up to this beautiful little cabin a little bit away from the pack house. Once we walked in I could tell that it had all been updated. I look over to Sebastian and see that he is watching my reaction to the little cabin that is in fact very beautiful.

"This place is amazing, Sebastian. I love it!" I said to him, to let him know that I really love the little cabin that is now ours. I could tell that he really appreciated me confirming that I loved the place.

Sebastian said, "Come on, I'll show you to our room. If you are alright with sharing a room and bed with me." I knew that this was a possibility and I was alright with it.

"Yes, that is alright with me, Sebastian. I don't mind sharing a room with you. I trust that you won't pressure me into something that I'm not ready for at the moment." I said.

"I would never pressure you to love. When we are both ready to take that next step we will be together. If you want another room separate from me we can do that love." Sebastian said.

"No, that's alright. I want to stay in our room together." I said. We both looked at each other with a smile. I'm not worried about sharing a room. It is our place and I can see my future here.

"It's starting to get late so we should get some sleep. We can talk more in the morning. I would like to know more about you." he said. I nodded my head and followed him to our room. I went into the adjoining bathroom and got ready for bed.

The next morning…

I awoke the next morning to the smell of something so delicious. I walked out of the room into the hallway to the kitchen, where I saw Sebastian preparing breakfast over the stove. Biscuits and sausage were made for breakfast. A smile spread across Sebastian's face as he said, "Good morning, my love."

My eyes gazed at him, and I imagined myself waking up to his smile every day. With a flirtatious tone, I said, "Good morning, too." I sat down, and he passed me a plate of food. It looked so delicious.

"How did you sleep last night?" He asked. After taking a bite, I was satisfied. "I slept great last night, how about you?" I asked. He sat down next to me while we ate. We made light conversation as we ate. He was telling me a little more about the pack, and what some of my duties would be as Luna.

"Sebastian, I really want to get to know you better. Do you mind telling me a bit about yourself?" I asked him. For a second I really thought that he wasn't going to say anything or even tell me about himself.

Sebastian said, "I'll tell you anything that you want to know, but I'll tell you a little about me, and then you can ask me about anything else after alright." I paused for a moment before I answered him. "Yes, that sounds good. You can also ask me anything that you want to know about me too."

He started talking after that by telling me his favorite color was blue, he played sports when he was in high school, and only informed me that he had never had a girlfriend. He said that he was waiting to find his mate. That he wanted his mate to be his one and only and that he would always cherish her.

Hearing him say that about waiting for me I couldn't have been happier. I also waited for my mate and was so glad that he did and that neither of us would have to deal with horrible exes. He asked me to tell him about myself also.

I told him that I stayed focused in school and that I had also been a student-athlete. I was always focused on being the best warrior that I could be. That's my favorite color was the green but not dark green lighter color of it. Like the color of the trees in the leaves right before fall. I also told him that I too waited for my mate and that I was happy that he waited for me as I did him.

"Naomi, I think that we have done enough talking right now. I have some Alpha business to attend to. I'm sorry to rush off but I still have my duties to the pack." Sebastian said. I nodded my head in agreement with him. I understood that he had a pack to run. Really that we both had one to run together. I said to him, "I understand that Sebastian, and we can always talk more later. I will see you when you get back. I'm just going to hang out around the cabin and maybe read. Also start preparing to take on my role as Luna so that you aren't the only one running the pack."
