Chapter 14: The End of The Long Day (1)

"Carlos has never manage to achieve anything! His power was only for show rather than actually trying to accomplish our cause!" Sycorax yelled out as she was dodging Adelheid's attacks.

"And you think you could replace him? You are nothing compared to him!" Adelheid yelled out.

Their fight caught the attention of the other members of Daman who were approaching their location in an incredible speed. Frank knew it wasn't possible to stand his ground in a battle against all of them, so he decided to retreat first to rethink his plan, leaving Sycorax and Adelheid to continue their fight.

As he was finding a safe place, he sensed it, a calm and gentle aura, he thought to himself who could have emitted such aura. He came closer to the source of it and saw what was happening on the other side of the battlefield.

It was a mess, fire was everywhere, buildings collapsed, there was a limbless and headless body, a baby, and to his surprise, a lord was also standing there, one of the 12 Rulers.

"Lord Yamikani Khaleel? What on earth is he doing here?" Frank asked himself as he observed the situation from a far.

Yamikani looked at the bloody corpse, the result of the monster's power. He laughed as if he was entertained.

"I thought this was gonna be a waste, but it appears to be the exact opposite! Laurentina! Come over here and take a look of this!" Yamikani yelled out to a distance. In less than a second, a girl wearing a black suit with blonde hair arrived behind him.

"You called upon me, my lord?" she said.

"Well of course, who do you think this corpse belongs to?

She took a look of the limbless and headless body lying flat on the ground.

"There was no way for me to know who this is, my lord."

"I know right?" Yamikani laughed hysterically. He continued, "This is that clown, Hormidas Fanny, your rival!"

Laurentina was shocked in disbelief, "This is Hormidas?"

"Yep the one and only, I am one thousand percent sure, he himself told me, furthermore, I would recognize that ugly white coat anywhere."

"Who was capable of doing this?" Laurentina asked. Yamikani didn't answer right away, rather he pointed playfully at the baby boy.

Laurentina redirected her attention to the monster with a rather confused face, "Him?"

"Well yes, apparently this little guy right here is the monster everyone has been talking about."

Before Laurentina could response, Hafsa Hess, who assumed the battle was over, approached Yamikani and stepped in between their conversation.

"Forgive me for interrupting your chat, but I am gonna have to kill the monster, so if you don't mind-"

Before she could finish her sentence, her entire body in an instant began to tremble in fear and shake uncontrollably as Yamikani raised his aura once more. Hafsa Hess fell to the ground as Yamikani opened his mouth,

"I didn't remember asking you to go near me."

Hafsa Hess quickly step back, making a distance between her and Yamikani, showing no further resistance.

"Forgive me, sir," as she bowed her head.

"Now now, where were we? Oh right, this little guy impressed me for sure, considering that idiot clown have that annoying regeneration power from that old man, Farhan, the boy managed to actually kill him, rendering his regenerative power useless. A rather useful and rare power," Yamikani said as he approached the baby to take a closer look.

"I feel like I really want to keep this boy as my own in ADIBUS. But I guess we were just not meant to be," as he stabbed the baby with his red blade in an instant, piercing right through his little body, killing him.

He pulled his blade out of the monster's corpse and then he approached Amisha who was just standing there helplessly, unable to move due to Yamikani's aura.

Yamikani stabbed his red blade through Amisha's chest and pulled it out in an instant, killing her. She fell to the ground, coughing up blood, trying to remain conscious but it was no use as her lifeless body fell flat on the ground.

Yamikani glanced at Hafsa Hess, "There, I did your job," as he walked away from there.

"Oh yeah, by the way, Laurentina darling, you have my permission to burn their body. You know me, I don't like leaving dirty stuff behind," Yamikani said right before he disappeared into thin air.

Laurentina's white eyes began to glow as she emitted a massive amount a white flames to her surrounding, burning the entire place, leaving nothing behind.

"Is that really necessary?" Hafsa asked.

"Are you willing to ask that to my lord?"

Hearing that question, Hafsa immediately shut her mouth.

"Then I will be taking my leave," Laurentina said as she disappeared into thin air.

"Huh, jerks!" Hafsa yelled out upset as she was observing the white flames eating everything it touched including Stanley and Molly's dead body, leaving not a single trace.

"Well at least my job here is done," Hafsa said as she was preparing to take her leave when Frank Reece came out of his hiding and approached her.

"Hey! Hey you!" Frank yelled out causing Hafsa to turn around.

"Do I know you?" Hafsa asked.

"I am Frank Reece, SHR agent, I require your assistance, immediately!"
