Chapter 14: Secrets

Hudson's POV

I watch to make sure Thea locks the door as I leave, and I continue down the path as if I am heading back to Emma's. Once I am far enough away, I stash my clothes in a bush and shift.

As soon as I am reunited with my wolf, I take off towards the other end of town to an abandoned farm. It has been unused for years, which makes it the perfect place to go when you don't want to be overheard.

I slip into an old silo, where I have stashed an old pair of jeans. I shift back and slip the jeans on. Making my way out of the silo, the cold wind hits my bare chest. I need to remember to add more clothes to the silo; with winter coming; the jeans alone are not going to cut it for much longer.

Careful not to attract any attention, I stay on the treeline on my way to the old farmhouse. Around back, I unlock the old root cellar and make my way down the musty stairs.

"It is about time you showed up. You have a lot to explain." a familiar voice calls from the darkness.
