Davien's P. O. V
He didn't say a word, and I already knew he wouldn't, not after I mouthed off to him about accepting himself. It was true that it seemed that way to me, but telling that to his face was out of line.
Shit.
Why didn't I just tell him I didn't care about his past like he asked?
My mind was in torment until we finally arrived at our destination, which at this point left me uncertain if this could actually lift his spirits.
I pulled over by the theme park's parking lot and stepped out first to scope the area, there were a good number of people around which made sense considering it was the weekend.
"You're not coming out?" I peered through the window at Kian, whose eyes spelled nothing but indignation. Was he not a fan of theme parks?
"No, I'd rather take my chances with the mosquitoes back at the waterfall." He flat out said, refusing to leave his seat.
