Davien's P. O. V
I thought I misheard her and asked again, "Daphne, what do you mean you don't remember?"
She pinched her chin, "I'm sorry, I can't remember a thing we talked about before I blacked out. Can you remind me what it was?" She sheepishly asked, making me doubletake on whether or not to tell her now.
I had told her last night and this was the outcome, I didn't want to tell her as soon as she recovered and make things worse on her.
"We'll talk about it later this evening once you're feeling better, it's very important that I tell you." I said and took my leave, the thing with Daphne could wait, torturing Alice came first.
Oliver was already waiting for me by the time I reached the dungeon, he had spent the entire night interrogating the guards about Alice's escape. He reported back, that not one of them saw her escape nor did they help her leave.
