I waited all night in the room for Davien to return from his study but he didn't show up. And then, I had a bath and went to look for him, but by the time I got there, Oliver informed me that he had gone out already. Following that, I called him, but the conversation didn't last more than a minute, and the only thing he said, was a reminder for me to have my checkup with Penelope and eat on time.
It was evident that he was avoiding me, or rather he was hiding something from me. He was too expressive yesterday for me not to notice, but by now I figured he would've caved in and told me all about it.
"Luna, I've conducted the exam, and it's just as I fear, your condition is only getting worse. I know how strongly Alpha Davien feels about having this child, but I can't look past the damage you're causing yourself." Penelope stressed, she had told me the same thing last night when Davien accidentally harmed me last night.
