Worsening Marriage

"He asked me the next day if I was taking it like I should be." Adeline said taking an angry bite out of her granola bar. "If I was taking it!!!" She shouted and Jamie had her mouth open slightly.

"What did you say?" Jamie could not believe what she was hearing. Just when she thought that Regis couldn't be any worse than he was. Adeline told her another tidbit and she hated him more.

"That I was." Adeline made a very angry sound. "But I haven't been, I don't like taking things like that, I'm afraid it will mess me up inside. I see all the statics and stuff on drugs."

"But he handed you a morning after pill too? What the hell is wrong with him?" Jamie asked, and they were in a sunroom that had rather plush furniture and it was a sunny day. The room was a pale yellow with plants and a white carpet.
