The ophthalmologist peeks over the window. Making sure the two men fell into their deaths.
“You can come out now. They’re already gone.” He called out. Directly aimed at us. Dawson beside me stiffen. I stepped out of what seems to be a wall but is actually a white thick linen straighten out to cover up the small door behind it.
I showed my face in the light. The girl's sound asleep on my back. Dawson followed my lead. The ophthalmologist swings his head to glance at us and smiled.
“I’m sorry you’ve got to see that son, I hope you’re not mentally disturbed by what you saw.” He said. His eyes still have that wild look he had when he cut the rope earlier. He’s still shaken. His hands are trembling vigorously. He clench it into a fist and shove them into his front pockets.
“Is this your first kill Doctor?” I asked, he flinched.
“First kill? How can you ask that?”
