Chapter 4

Looking at the girl Infront of me I see that she resembles someone…'wait isn't this Jean ?, she looks almost the exact same as the Jean from the new X-Men movies but better?' looking at her as she frowns even further while looking at me I sigh and take a bite out of my pizza while looking at her.

" how may I help you?" I decided to talk once more.

Jean hearing me frowned even further before opening her mouth to speak over and over again.

" who are you?, what's your business here? " she said with her arms making weird gestures but using soul sonar I feel the psionic energy concentrating towards the appliances in our vicinity.

' ahh she's using telekinesis, wait I'm able to feel psionic energy? ' deciding to not dig any depper and just clear out whatever misunderstanding she has made up inside her head.

" I'm Darius, a new mutant just arrived yesterday" I said and felt the psionic energy slowly dissipate.

" oh, my apologies then I thought you were an intruder i felt you walking on the hallway and wanted to check " she said making her frown disappear but not completely.

" oh cool, anyway nice to meet you" I said with a smile which has been cultivated through thousands of emotionally breaking events in this life.

" ow yes it is, my name is jean." she said still looking at me with a slight frown.

" is there something wrong?, You look a little…" I spoke but didn't finish wanting her to make her own assumptions.

" ahh yes I'm fine…it's just that your mind." she spoke while trying to find the right words.

"my mind? " i said trying to feign ignorance to her power but still being as cautious as fuck as this would determine my next actions in this school.

" ahh yes I'm a telepath " she said with a tired smile.

"…oh i see." i said with a visibly restrained smile.

" you're worried I'm reading your mind huh?" Jean said with an amused smile that made me chuckle.

" would I be wrong not to? " I said with a smile.

" don't worry I try not to read people's minds often, but that's not what I'm worried about it's just that your mind…I can't read it even if I'm actually trying…it's as if it doesn't exist but I can still feel it too but just barely" she said with a frown.

" maybe it's related to my X-Gene Ability? " i said already placing my first play in this world.

" owww what is it?" she said with a smile visibly interested.

" well I found out that I could do this when I just woke up today " as I finished speaking another me suddenly popped out into existence besides me.

" hey…" my clone said with a smile before grabbing my slice of pizza and juice and walking away towards one of the tables on the cafeteria all the while Jean has her jaw dropped a bit.

" it's a neat ability huh? " i said bringing Jean out of her stupor.

" yes it is, it's very Interesting actually but that still doesn't answer why I can't read your mind…" she said with a frown while looking at my clone minding his own business eating and me standing Infront of her.

" maybe a secondary mutation?, I mean its not the first time that had happened" she began making assumptions still shocked at my clone whose gulping at my juice making me chuckle.

" wanna grab something to eat and chat maybe? " I said with a smile making her smile.

" yeah I don't mind " she said before we went back to the cafeteria kitchen and grabbed some leftover pizza and juice and made our way towards my clone as sat with him.

" finally decided to grace this one with your presence huh? " my clone said with a chuckle.

Jean hearing my clone chuckled along with him making me shake my head before we began talking.

-/hour later/-

We talked and talked about this school and what you'd find innit and the best spots to just be alone along with what she liked to do and I just got to know her.

" wait so you're telling me that your clones can tranfer their memories to you everytime they disappear?" Jean said with wide eyes.

" yeah pretty much" i said with a smile and looked at my clone who was rolling his eyes.

" and they won't disappear unless they either die or you make them disappear? " she said a little bit louder while pointing at my clone who decided to just take a nap which was actually a smart idea as when he dissapears It'll be as if I was the one sleeping.

" yep!, I'm pretty much a one man army all by my lonesome." I said with my chest puffed with a pretend arrogant face etched on my face making Jean laugh for what seemed to be the hundredth time this hour.

" yeah Mr one man army you're great " Jean said with a roll of her eyes making me chuckle.

" yeah but I'm only able to make 10 clones so that's a bummer." I said with a sigh but deep down I knew that was a lie as currently I'm able to make approximately 270 clones of my self but all of them have 50% of my base strength and cannot use any other Abilities that I have except the nullification Ability which is a bummer.

" 10 is still much though and your mutant Ability activated yesterday?, Maybe the amount you make will increase too? " she said with a thoughtful look.

" yeah maybe" looking at the windows I see that the sky is becoming lighter meaning that the sun is about to rise.

" well Jean it has been a true pleasure to meet you but I gotta get some shuteye and you too " i said while standing up making my clone dissapear in motes of black lights making Jean raise an eyebrow before looking at my smile making her slightly smile too.

" yeah it has been a pleasure Mr Sinclair" she said with a roll of her eyes.

" you too Mrs Grey" i said with my own roll of my eyes before we made our way out of the cafeteria chatting about unimportant topics and when we arrived at my room she smiled while putting her hands at the back.

" so do you think we can see each other again?" she said while looking at the floor.

Smiling at her question but at the back of my head I'm grinning." of course we can, maybe we can meet each other again tomorrow at 02:00 in the morning like we did today? " I suggested while opening my room.

" I'd like that, anyway I'll meet you later." she said before walking away towards the Left wing of the mansion where the X-Men and teachers along with the professor stays as she told me.

Sighing I made my way towards my bed and fell on it before dozing off.
