The Male Lead isn't Following the Script!

Adeline didn't expect she would transmigrate into the trashy novel she read years ago. The plot was so cliched that she couldn't bring herself to finish it. Years later, she found that very book on her bed, the page was open to the villainess' execution and before she knew it she found herself in the very novel she hated. The evil villainess who couldn't stand her two childhood friends become completely enamoured by the female lead, she decided to take care of the matter herself and thus became the public enemy. She now became the villainess of the story! "I do not accept this!" Adeline yelled at the top of her lungs. "I will change the plot." The Crown Prince she rejected won't leave her alone. The cold Northern Duke clung to her and wouldn't let go. The Arch Mage wants to abandon his duties and serve as her personal knight, and the Head Priest is obsessed with her! The Male leads she wished to avoid won't leave her alone! ---------------------------------------------------------------- Obsessive male lead- check. Funny but strong female lead- check. Amazing family- check. Annoying Goddess- also check.

Lightning Powers

"Adeline," he said, his voice low and dangerous. "Do you realise what you've done?"

She met his gaze, her expression resolute. "I've set the stage for justice."

"You've exposed yourself to the Emperor," he snapped. "He's a viper, always looking for ways to strengthen his power. Your dual abilities are a weapon he will try to wield."

"I won't let him," Adeline replied firmly. "I'm not a pawn."

She hadn't told the Emperor what her second ability was. She would want her lightning powers to be a surprise that would face-slap anyone who had mean intentions.

When the Northern Duke received a summon from the Emperor specifically asking him to bring along his heir, he was confused and alarmed. But he was in no place to question it.

He called Benedict into his study and informed him about the trip. They were to assemble at the palace immediately. Benedict wondered what could have happened, but the thought was immediately overshadowed by worry.
