Chapter 11: The Frightened Squirrel

Noel beat up the girl with long brown hair with her bare hands.

The girl's fish eyes showed she was a person with no life and no care.

"You bastard short girl! How could you destroy my favorite weapon!"

Noel threw anger and punches. However, they were parried easily by the girl.

Noel's punch attack was swift. So fast, Flare couldn't see her movements.

Flare was amazed. Since they met, it was the first time she had seen Noel attack with her bare hands.

It was unexpected that Noel possessed a martial art.

Unfortunately, the girl's fish eyes seemed to be able to see all of Noel's movements.

Flare needed to stand idly by. She began to help Noel.

Flare drew arrows and targeted the girl's blind spots. When an opportunity arose. Flare released an arrow.

Flare's arrow shot out. However, the girl could see the arrow's target.

The girl countered Noel's attack, making Noel immediately overwhelmed. With one punch from the girl's hand, Noel flew away.

Then, the girl targeted Flare. She glided towards the arrow that Flare released.

The arrow and the girl collided with each other. The sound of metal clashing could be heard. The girl's body shattered Flare's arrow.

"Impossible!"

Flare was surprised to hear the sound of iron clashing; she didn't expect the girl's body to be as strong as iron.

When Flare was about to draw another arrow. The girl was in front of her and hit Flare in the stomach.

Blood came out of Flare's mouth. The girl's punch was powerful.

Flare could feel the girl's blow as if she was hit by iron.

Flare was knocked out. Her consciousness disappeared. Flare's physical strength was relatively weak compared to Noel. She couldn't withstand the girl's attack.

"One done."

The girl's cold voice came out. The girl's fish eyes then turned to the frozen two people.

Charu and Risu.

Their bodies were frozen. Cold sweat poured down each head. They couldn't make a sound because of their fear of the girl who had defeated the two adventurers.

The girl began to walk towards them. Charu's trembling hand reflexively held Risu's hand tightly.

"Well, will you guys disturb my sleep time too?"

Charu and Risu shook their heads simultaneously at the girl's question.

"Then, what business do you have here?"

Risu immediately hugged Charu's body.

"W-we're here looking for a dagger-like heirloom weapon called the Keris."

The girl's fish eyes sharpened as Charu answered her question.

A blast of wind whipped up the girl's long hair.

"Oh, that's me."
