Chapter 11

"Now follow me"

"I do not need anyone to usher me to my home, I can go by myself.", Chloe said frowning at the man.

"If you are not coming then we have to take you with us. You can just leave the trouble and just show us where your home is.", the man said with a blank expression.

Going with them could be a good option for her if only the circumstances aren't like this for her. What could be more good for Chloe if her prey is inviting her to come and bite him, but with the circumstances now, the position of prey and predator were swapped. She couldn't choose this either.

She waited for a few seconds to reply and acted like she was thinking something.

"I would like to go with the first option.", she said with a dubious face.

"Wise choice. Please come then.", the man replied again with a blank face.

Chloe followed the man from behind and with her steps, two more of Dave's men joined them. The man took her to the parking area of the Nightclub. The four stood in front of a black car, the first man opened the backseat door for her.

"Please sit here."

Chloe opened the door for the passenger seat and sat there, shutting the door loudly.

"I will be seating here.", Chloe said crossing her hands on her chest.

The man went to the driver's seat and opened the door.

"Your car keys.", the man extended his hand.

"Parking No. 14", Chloe said throwing her keys to him.

The man took the keys and gave them to one of the two men who came with them.

After giving the keys to another man, he came and sat in the driver's seat. Another man opened the door for the backseat and sat there.

He pulled the gear and turned the wheel to drive.

"Enter your house location.", the man said pointing towards the Navigator inside the car.

Natalia looked at the navigator and entered her address.

The car went outside the parking area.

"I am not seeing any other black cars like this around.", Chloe said facing the man, as she noticed that there was no other black car leaving the parking area.

The man in the driver's seat didn't say anything, he even doesn't turn his face to her he kept driving the car.

Chloe understood that he will not answer anything unless it was important or relatable.

"We do not park our cars here, and probably the boss must have left from here.", the man in the back seat replied.

Chloe turned her face to him and smiled looking at him, the man smiled in turn.

"Don't think of him as someone rude, he doesn't really like to talk with strangers.". the man behind said pointing toward the driver's seat.

Chloe turned her face back to the front, the rest of the drive was silent, and no one said a word.

Drive was quite smooth as there wasn't any traffic at night and the man drove the car at full speed, they reached quite fast.

As the car stopped, Chloe opened her door instantly and stepped outside the car.

"Wait for us.", with this the man in the backseat gets off the car seat.

After the two got out, the other man parked the car on the roadside, leaving the car there he came to them.

The three were standing in front of a three-story building.

"Which floor?", the man asked Chloe.

"You are going to see my apartment too.", Chloe said turning her face to the man.

The man turned his face to her, staring at her blankly, but didn't say anything.

"Top floor. There is a lift inside.", Chloe said turning towards the entrance of the building.

"Expressionless jerk.", Chloe mumbled in her mouth.

The two men heard her but didn't say anything, the other one looked at her with wide eyes.

They took the lift to her floor, the silence between them was quite awkward.

The three of them were now in front of her apartment.

"Do you want to see my door's password to see?"

"No.", the man kept his answer short.

"Then leave.", Chloe said furiously.

"Open the door and get in. We have to confirm it's your house."

Chloe sighed at his words, then went toward the door and entered her house password. She opened the door.

"You see, this is my house. I will close the door if you leave from here.", Chloe said stepping into the house.

He nodded to her.

"Your car will be here soon, a man will come and give you the car keys.", the two of them left after saying this.

Chloe closed the door while seeing the two figures leaving.

She took a breath of relief and let her body drop to the ground.

"Ah! that was difficult.", she said as she removed her heels from her feet.

She sat there for a few minutes.

She stood up from the ground and got undressed throwing all her clothes in her house. She went to her bathroom for a bath. Removing her earpiece and ring, she turns on the shower.

With the flowing water through her head, she remembered every single thing that happened in the nightclub.

Suddenly she remembered about Aiden, she completely forgot about him. He was waiting for her near the nightclub.

"Oh, Shit!", she went out of the shower immediately and wrapped her body in a towel. With her hair dripping water, she went to her drawing room to call him.

She left her phone near the door when she get in.

She dialed his number with his wet hands, Aiden immediately picked up his call.

"Aiden."

Aiden recognized her voice.

"Chloe, Where are you? You are safe, right? He didn't threaten you? I saw him leaving from here, then I went in to look for you but you were not there, I am searching for you after then. I saw one of his men driving your car. Didn't you receive my message? I am still near the club, just tell me where are you, I will come to you.", Aiden said without taking a breath in between his words.
