Suspicion

Thomas and Luke went into the main mansion to see their father. They obviously came back to discuss the issue about exposing Dave if their father refuse to sign Luke as the new CEO of blacks cooperative.

Mrs Jeff sat in the living room downstairs with Clara when Thomas and Luke walked into the living room and greeted her, "Good afternoon mom, happy weekend."

"Welcome sons," Mrs Jeff replied them while they walked up to her and gave her a quick peck on her cheek each.

"Mother where's father?, We actually came back because of him. Atleast now he's fit, we need to re-negotiate this matter concerning assigning Dave as the new CEO and now Ashley doesn't want to marry him, Father has to assign me as her husband and not cancel the marriage," Thomas said and Mrs Jeff frowned.

"Thomas can you atleast sit down. Your father is not even around and why will you want to marry a left over. You cannot marry that girl that Dave has used, I forbid it," Mrs Jeff responded and Thomas frowned as he still stood.

"Mother it doesn't matter if Dave had used her or not, I like her and that's what matter."

"Enough Thomas!. I won't sit down here and have you speak of such nonsense again. Have you forgotten that same girl almost damaged your manhood and almost rendered you useless. How much more would she do to you when you marry her, inshort you're not going to marry her and that's final!." Mrs Jeff deadpanned as she raised her voice.

"Hmph.." Thomas frowned. He obviously hadn't forgotten the kick that she gave him as it hurted him for days, but the lady was too tempting to resist.

"Mother these hasn't gotten to you getting upset, I have forgiven her and I still like her.." Thomas tried to confuse his mother.

"No!" Mrs Jeff stood up and turned to leave the living room but Luke immediately stopped her.

"It hasn't gotten to leaving mother, we came for an important discussion and that's for father to assign me as the new CEO, let's leave the marriage topic for now Thomas" Luke said and Thomas angrily stared at him.

Luke ignored Thomas and walked over to meet his mother.

"Mom, you know your family supported father, why not talk to your family to make him assign me as the new CEO, Dave is not your biological son and I overhead father telling someone Dave has another stepbrother he never knew off.." Luke quietly told his mother and Mrs Jeff sighed and replied him, "I know."

"WHAT! You knew mother?!" Thomas and Luke questioned and just then Mr Jeff stepped into the mansion and into the living room.

"Knew what?" He asked them as he handed over his briefcase to a maid who came to collect it, taking it to his private office downstairs.

"Is nothing father, we were asking mother if she knew how to make you understand the importance of assigning Luke as the new CEO.." Thomas replied him and his eyes narrowed and he walked into the living to take his seat on the couch.

"Luke cannot be the CEO, Dave is older than him and that's why I assigned Dave instead of Luke. You're all my sons and since you Thomas already have your own company, is best I handle the blacks matter to Dave as he's more experienced than Luke. Whatever you intend doing Luke, you have my support but forget about the blacks company, not even your mother or her family can change my decision on that."

"Father!" Luke stared at him angrily, and Mr Jeff shook his head and stood up.

"Luke you should learn to acknowledge Dave as your brother and support him, talk to Brown to change and you both should start somethings of your own doing ." Mr Jeff told Luke as he walked away from the living room going to his chamber and private office downstairs as his children had the whole upstairs to themselves.

"You see what have been saying mother. Father wouldn't just agree except we use force to terminate Dave.." Luke ranted.

"Is okay son, I will try and talk to him," Mrs Jeff sighed and she walked towards the direction her husband had gone into.

Thomas sighed as he placed both his two hands supporting his waist as he stood.

"What're we going to do now brother?. I told you coming back home and talking to that old man was a waste of time." Luke ranted as he walked up to the double door fridge in their living room to remove a bottle water.

"There's nothing without a solution Luke, calm down.." Thomas told him and he walked towards the stairs going upstairs to his own room in the mansion.

"What're you planning on doing Thomas?" Luke asked with worry written on his face as he was getting frustrated knowing his father would never change his mind.

"Leave that to me, to execute my plans first, then we will see who becomes the next CEO and boss," Thomas said

"Are you planning on killing Dave?," Luke questioned and Thomas smirked, "No, nevermind I will tell you about it later," Then he walked upstairs to his room, leaving Luke in the parlour, whom stood in deep thoughts.

Clara frowned hearing her two brothers. She knew they hated Dave but she was scared with the way Thomas spoked. She hoped to find out what her brother was up to so she can inform Dave about it.

Luke turned and stared at Clara, seeing her worried face he knew she was more concerned about Dave than him. He ignored her and went back upstairs to his own room, holding the bottle water he had taken from the fridge.

Clara stood up and went out of their mansion, going out to Dave's mansion to see if he was back, but as she stepped out and looked, his car wasn't parked in front of his apartment, except for the old cars that Dave didn't normally use, even though they were good.

She sighed and thought of going to see Ashley as she knew, Ashley would be going back the following day.

Just as Clara stepped down and made her way towards Dave's apartment, Mrs Jeff came out and questioned, "And where are you going to silly girl?."

Clara frowned and stared back at her mother as she stopped.

"How many times, have I warned you to stay away from Dave and that lady that behaves like a man. You want me to ground you right. Now go back into the house before I ask the guards. to discipline you, now!" Mrs Jeff commanded and Clara stumped her legs on the ground and went back into the mansion.

"Am no longer a child mother, am free to do whatever I want, I will go and see father about this.." Clara murmured.

"Fine, just go back into the house and don't let me see you step a foot into that bastard apartment, I will be watching you from inside." Mrs Jeff walked back into the living room first and sat, while Clara stood by the door. She got upset and went back to her room upstairs leaving her mother downstairs on the first floor.

Mrs Jeff hissed after Clara left. She knew her daughter was stubborn but she wouldn't blame her. She switched on the television back and continued watching her favorite movie that she was watching before Thomas and Luke stepped in.

She thought about what Luke said. She has always had her suspicion that Dave might not even be her husband's real son the more reason why she called him a bastard always. She remembered she used to catch his mother with abortion pills after her husband had raped her several times. The lady was indeed very beautiful and curvy than her. She was a light skinned beauty, but her beauty speak more volumes than hers despite she was fair and white. She had killed her out of jealousy after her husband found out about the abortion pills and threw it away.

Mrs Jeff bite on her lower lips as she thought about the past in anger. She has burnt everything related to the woman after her death and her husband couldn't do anything to her, because of her family support.

She thought about how to eliminate Dave. He doesn't even resemble her husband and he reminds her of her past sin as he resembles his mother so much even though he was dark. She sighed abd brought out her phone, looking for a contact to dial.
