Avoiding Dave

Thomas stood outside waiting in vain, as he knew, now that Dave was already back home, there was no way of him going to see Ashley again, and as it was already getting late, Thomas cursed heavily and finally went back inside their own mansion, which was opposite and in front of Dave apartment, that was situated at the back in the Jeff's resident.

Dave went inside his apartment and saw that the television was on, meaning Ashley was there in the Parlour and might had probably gone back inside when she heard the sound of him parking his car.

Dave left the television talking, and he walked over to the corridor leading to his room, and he paused and wanted to knocked on Ashley's room door, but he decided to leave her, since she doesn't want to see him too.

Dave went to his room feeling dejected, he still had a huge portrait of his mother hanging in his room walls, as he stood up and went over to look at his mother's portrait again, as he normally acknowledge her portrait like she was alive and there to welcome him and comfort him, after acknowledging his mother for some minutes, he went in to take his bath.

Dave didn't come out of his room like usual, ws he stayed back in his room, researching and trying to find out any significant info of whom Norman truly was. Later Helen came and knocked on his door informing him, dinner was ready.

Dave ignored the knock and Helen went back knowing if Dave didn't answer, then she doesn't dare to stay back at the door knocking, to avoid disturbing him.

Ashley was hungry, and she tossed and tossed herself around on her bed in her room, as she has been angry since Thomas told her Dave was gay and she didn't wanted to saw Dave again.

"Why of all men father wants me to marry, Is a gay man? even though he knows I don't want to marry anyone!" Ashley ranted as she was unable to sleep feeling hungry. She stood up and walked about in her room angrily, remembering how Dave had kissed her passionately, leaving her breathless and wanting for more.

Ashley wondered, "Does Dave imagine me as a man that's why he kissed me like that thinking am a man.." Ashley frowned at her own thoughts, listening to herself as she walked up to the mirror in her room, to took a proper look at herself.

Turning around in front of her mirror she said "But i do not look like a man at all.." Ashley frowned staring at her reflection.

Ashley was still lost in her thought when she heard Helen whom was also the cook knocked, on her door and informed her, dinner was ready.

Ashley cursed as she knew Dave would also came out too, for dinner with her and she went to the door and called Helen..

"Helen, Helen! come" Ashley silently called the maid.

"Has boss gone to the dinning to eat his food?" Ashley asked Helen, in a lowered voice.

But before Helen could responded, Dave opened his room door and stepped out from his room, and he caught them, as he saw Ashley whispering words to Helen but he did not seem to have heard what Ashley was saying to Helen.

Helen quickly noticed Dave presence behind her, and she quickly hurried up and left, while Ashley turned and saw Dave approaching, and she immediately ran back inside.

"Hmm, what are they up too again?" Dave murmured, as he came closer to Ashley's room door and knocked.

"Ashley!.. Ashley!" Dave called out to her but Ashley didn't responded.

Ashley's heart was panicking and beating loud in her chest, as she stood behind the door and she heard him calling her loudly.

"Open the door! Ashley" Dave repeated.

Ashley knew Dave didn't liked to be kept waiting, but she didn't want to saw him either.

Ashley thought of how he intensely kissed her before the last time, as it flashed in her mind and she screamed out, "No! Go away, I don't want to see you".

Dave heard her response and he frowned, and left her door, and he went to the dinning and sat down waiting for Helen to return.

Dave asked Helen as soon as she serve the dinner on the table, "What was Ashley telling you about?."

Dave stared at Helen.as she served his meal, waiting for her replied.

"She was only asking me if you were already at the dinning room, boss" Helen replied as she bowed her head lower and dished out his meal.

"Hmm.. Go and call her and ask her to come and join me for dinner, or as she eaten?" Dave questioned again.

"No boss, she hasn't" Helen replied and went to Ashley's room door to knocked.

Dave switched on the big television and navigated it to be showing Ashley's room, as he had monitor cameras everywhere in his home, he sat watching them.

Helen knocked and Ashley opened the door seeing it was only Helen, she let Helen into her room, and Dave sat in the parlour watching them from the replay in the parlour.

"Boss asked me to call you to come join him in the dinning," Helen said

"I don't want to seat with Dave, can you bring my food here, am hungry and I don't want to see him" Ashley respond, squeezing her face in disgust as she was very hungry.

"Why if I may ask?" Helen asked her, but Ashley glared at her, then she calmed and replied, "You won't understand Helen, how do you expect me to be around him, knowing his a gay, I just don't want to see him" Ashley murmured.

"Hmph.." Helen sighed and responded "But boss will be angry with me if you don't come out now and join him for dinner, besides is just for the two of you to eat, after that you can return back here to your room," Helen suggested not really knowing what a gay was, she asked Ashley "What's a gay?" ... thinking it was a kind of sickness.

Ashley looked at Helen in Surprise, wondering where Dave must have brought the local maid from, that seemed not to know anything, Ashley replied "Never mind, I will go out with you now, you can go and serve the food.."

Ashley quickly dismissed Helen as she straighten her dress properly, she came out of her room and walked to the dinning that was joint with the parlour.

Helen went to ask Dave if he would still be in need anything, and she was shocked to saw the television displaying Ashley's room to show that Dave must have heard their conversation, she gulped and still asked Dave.

"Do you.. need anything else boss?."

Dave stared at Helen for a moment, then he replied "No", just as he was about changing the display setting, Ashley came into the parlour and saw her room on full display on the television that she was previously watching before Dave arrived.

Ashley gulped severally before she turned to face Dave, and she stammered and asked him, "How dare you put monitor cameras in my room, have you been monitoring my privacy?." Ashley yelled at Dave as disgust was clearly written all over her face.

Dave was quiet, not replying her, he change the setting and put the television back to the channel that was displaying before then he responded, "Can we eat now?."
