My Luna Ceremony
It was finally Saturday and I laid in bed not wanting to get up. I laid there for a moment longer. I jumped up today is the day that I take my place beside Ty as his Luna and Queen. I was so ready to rule by his side. I hopped in the shower to get ready for the day. I was so excited about today that I barely slept last night. Ty didn't come to bed until late. I can see how tired he is. I have spent days with him in his office trying to help him the best I could so he didn't have so much on his plate but even then it wasn't enough since I didn't know much about what he was working on but soon I will be able to understand and help him more each day.
I get out of the shower and make my way to the bedroom to get dressed and put a little make-up on to hopefully cover up the fact that I didn't sleep much. As I was walking out of the bedroom I ran into Brit. Goddess why doesn't she understand that I am Ty's mate and Queen. I was so caught up in my thought I wasn't watching where I was going and ran right into something hard like a brick walk. I slowly looked up and met eyes with one of the Elders. "Oh my goddess. I am so sorry I wasn't watching ever I was going." He just looked at me then smiled "it's okay child." Just then Ty came around the corner "Avianna I was wondering... Oh I see that you have meet my grandfather my mother's father." I looked at him in shock "your...your grandfather" I said looking up at the man that stood beside me laughing. "Again I am so sorry for bumping into you like that. I was lost in though." Nervously I walked over to Ty to hug him. Laughing at the expression on my face he hugged me and lead both myself and his grandfather to the kitchen.
It was almost time to get ready for the ceremony. I was in my room when my mother and Roxie came in to help me get ready. They looked beautiful. I smiled and they help me with my hair and make-up. After all that was done I stepped into my red mermaid dress that had a slip half way up the side, an open back and had just enough sparkles on it for me to stand out. Soon after I was dressed my father walked into the room to walk me to the ceremony in the garden. The ceremony is like a wedding it just more important because I'm not just coming into my mate life but everybody that is in his pack. Today I become their Luna and Queen. Today I take my stand next to my mate.
As Ty stands there with his hand out for me I turn to my father and kiss him on the cheek and tell him that I love him. He kisses me than places my hand in Ty's. I make my way up on the stage with Ty and everybody is quite. "I would like to thank everybody for coming tonight to help me in welcoming our new Luna and my Queen to our pack." Everybody cheers. Ty raises his hand he settle everybody down. He continues "I know that a lot of you have not had to pleasure of meeting you Luna face to face yet but tonight I hope that you will welcoming her with open arms. Finally I would like to welcome Avianna to the stage." I make up way over to Ty and everybody is clapping and cheering. Once they have settled down once again Ty turns to me and said "Avianna do you swear to the Moon Goddess that no matter what you will stand with you pack?" I looked at him then to all the new faces "I do" I said. "Do you swear to help you pack with whatever, whenever?" Once again I said I do. "with this finally question do you Avianna swear to love me and the pack and to watch over and to stand by my side ruling these lands?" As he finished his last question he take the ceremony knife and cuts a line down his hand. I turn to my people and look at each of them in the face and said "I, Avianna swear to you and the Moon Goddess that I will stand next to you Alpha and you all and do my part as Luna and Queen to this pack." and with that I turn to Ty holding out my hand so that he can cut the line down my hand. We line our hand together and turn to the crowd and with that they all started howling and cheering.
I stood there smiling thinking to myself "I have found my mate and as of today I am his Luna and Queen." We make our way to the ceremony hall where the cooks have place a buffet of all kinds of different food. Anything from steak to pizza. I know it sounds crazy to have pizza but I wanted stuff that everybody would be able to enjoy and since I have yet to meet everybody I decided to make sure nobody was left out.
Sitting at our table many different people came over to talk to us and to meet me. I was so happy that they all took to me. The rest of the night we laughed and danced and just had a great night that way until shit went south.
