Chapter 38: Faithful Return
Aurora's POV
I had no memory of when I fell asleep but I assumed that once I had, Liam carried me upstairs and placed me in his bed. I covered my face and groaned. I wonder what he thinks about me now. My family drama and personal turmoil were placed on display for him yesterday.
The faucet in the bathroom turned on and I sat up in bed. Was he still here? I looked at the large bay window, the sunlight overwhelmingly bright. He should be at training by now, did he cancel it to take care of me?
The bathroom door opened, and I laughed at the short blonde who exited. He couldn’t stop his duties as Alpha, but he still made sure that I had a friend by my side in his absence.
“Finally, you’re awake. He told me that you’d be out for a while, but d*mn girl I was getting bored as hell,” Faith complained.
