Chapter 26: Grandma Foster
Aurora’s POV
The days were longer now, and while everyone filled their time with training all I could do was sit in my bed and stare out the window. I had tried to make the most of my time with Dillion and Faith last night, but I couldn’t. My mind was reeling from all the information that swarmed around my brain. Someone was hiding something, and I had to figure out what. Now that I had all this free time on my hands then there was no excuse for me not to explore the truth.
My mother had just left for her day job as a receptionist for some run-of-the-mill company and Liam was heavy into training. Alex had told me that Alpha Aaron was overseeing yet another training session which meant the house would be empty and I was free to ask Liam’s grandmother whatever my heart desired.
I tossed the covers off my body and slipped on my shoes. At this point, I could trust no one with my plans. I wasn’t sure who had my best interest at heart and who was plotting against me.
