Aurora’s POV
The training was over and usually, I would feel overworked and exhausted, but now I was filled with an immense amount of energy. Spending time with Liam was the only thing that seemed to keep my mind at ease.
I had successfully avoided Alex in the meantime, which with Liam’s help was surprisingly easy. Liam made it nearly impossible for Alex to have a moment alone with me and I wasn’t complaining.
“I feel like I haven’t seen you for days. How’s life at the Hamilton residence?” Faith asked. Since moving back in with my mother, I had been spending time repairing our relationship and building with Liam. Between the two of them, I barely had time for anything or anyone else.
“It’s going fine,” I answer.
My attention was locked on the pack house’s back door. How was I going to sneak inside while everyone still lingered? Liam was most likely buried under paperwork and waiting for my arrival.
