Prologue

"Grrrr..." The only sound that could be heard, echoed. The 'Beast' sat in a red velvet and wooden chair as he looked at a massive Vortex that was in the air in front of him. It showed low ranked Daemons wrecking havock and killing weak humans. "Tsk..." The Beast made another sound. "How are these lowly Daemons getting loose?" He yelled at the Vortex. He knew that low ranked Daemons like these doesn't have any intelligence and that they go by instinct.

As the Beast watched, another came walking into the room. He had Forest Green hair and reddish orange eyes. He had a butler uniform on. "Lucifer, Sir." He greated his master as he bowed. Lucifer, as the green-haired servent called him, looked over at him. "Ishnid..." He said in an annoyed tone. "Bring me my top soldier. I want to speak to him."

Ishnid, the green-haired servent, gulped. "A-About that..." he hesitanted. Lucifer stood up. He had raven black hair with ram-like horns protruding from the top of is head. He wore a velvet overcoat that seemed like it came from medieval times and simple black pants. He had a black and red velvet cape, with a collar, over his shoulders. His shoes were black with a point. His blood red eyes watched the servent closely.

Lucifer strode over to Ishnid. "What did you say? Are you refusing to obey my command?" He said angrily.

Ishnid gulped one last time before dropping, to the floor, to his knee's. "Sir! I would never! I simple came to report to you! The head soldier as gone missing! We're beginning to think he's dead! No one has seen him in days! We can not locate him! The second in command took over...but he is not the best!" He said as he begged and pleaded for forgiveness.

Lucifer sighed as he turned around to look at the Vortex. He put a hand to his chin and started to think a loud. "Durteer isn't exactly trustworthy. Yolkein is strong but can't focus on what's important. Usakin is smart and stealthy but is to worried about numbers more than fighting. Harkenger is a good pick but he brings to much attention to himself. I need a Daemon who is strong enough to kill these lowly Daemons and is willing to follow up with me. They can't bring to much attention to himself and can focus on what's important." He sighed and massaged his temples. "Tsk...Why it's it so hard to find someone?" He yelled.

Ishnid slowly stood back up as Lucifer talked to himself. He thought of the perfect Daemon. "Sir, may I suggest Harkenger's little brother?"

Shocked, Lucifer turned and looked at Ishnid. "Why pick him?" He asked in an interested tone.

Ishnid smirked a little before talking. "Well, Harkenger's little brother, Vol'garoth, is strong headed. He focuses on one thing only. He's loyal to a fault. He's rather smart and mature for his age. He's never been in a fight but his level of fighting skill is rather high. Harkenger has said many times that he should be a soldier but it seems he's indifferent." He explained.

Lucifer turned to look at the Vortex. "Bring him to me..." He said as he walked his chair and sat down.

Ishnid nodded and turned. He started to walk out the room but stopped. "I do have to tell you one thing about him, he's not full Daemon." And with that, Ishnid left.

Lucifer looked towards the door as Ishnid left. "He's not full Daemon, huh?" He said with a devilish smirk.
