Luis rolled his eyes and tapped on the end button. If he replied to Jenkins' last statement, the conversation would have taken another turn and he needed to keep shut for the rest of his drive home.
The audacity to come into her home and try to order her around!
Vivienne stomped into her room fuming. But first, she didn't forget to carry her favorite bottle of water infused with green tea, mint, and lime. She placed the transparent bottle on her bedside table and flopped into the chair. Closing her eyes, she sighed and thought about how today had been eventful. She didn't have to think so much before sleep caught up with her.
When Luis got home, the cook was just finishing up his dinner. He went into the dining room and ate his fill before retiring into his room to have a good night's rest.
