Chapter 19

Bauer POV

Fuck this. I am not waiting for her to come to her senses. I pull Jasmine to the edge of the bed. I gather her in my arms. “Hold on to me,” I tell her softly.

I am leaving with her. This time I will leave this place. I will get her out. Fuck my brothers and this bullshit. We would be long gone from here, but she wanted to make sure Chanel was okay. Little did we know Chanel is fucking fine? I hope Chanel has no recollection of whatever Inanna is doing. She will lose her fucking mind if she has to relive those memories. I can only imagine.

Jasmine puts her arms around me. “Where is Walker?” she asks.

Great, she is fucking brainwashed or confused or who knows. If I can get her away from this place I can fix this for her.

I hold Jasmine in my arms as I make my way to the door. Inanna can deal with the others. Jasmine is my only concern. I hate to be that person. I hate it for them. I just cannot risk Jasmine’s life any longer.
