The Looming Death

"RUN! AS FAR AWAY AS YOU CAN!" The man shouted at his companions, warning them about the gut-wrenching feeling he had, after seeing the golden-masked man up close. For the first time in his life, he felt such an overwhelming feeling of hopelessness. The feeling of 'The Looming Death'. "Why?" One of them asked, visibly shocked by his comrade's outrage. "HE IS COMING! 'NOTHING' IS COMIN-" But, before the man could have finished his sentence. His mouth disintegrated into thin air, slowly followed by the other parts of his body. In less than a minute, there was nothing left of that man. Not even ashes. ________________________________________________ Gods and devils rule over the world of mortals. A world where magic is a necessity. A world where everyone is equal and free. Social hierarchies don't exist. Your race doesn't matter. A world envisioned as fair and just by its rulers. That was a masterfully crafted lie, they told to every person in the living domain. The world had always been a cruel, unjust, and merciless place. It was now more true than ever. Churches control everything in the name of their faith in mythical beings. Royals with money regulate the economy along with the lower class, to please the Churches. Every human existence had at least asked himself once. Did the Gods truly exist? If they existed. Why did they need to create humans? Why do they never show themselves to us? What will happen exactly? If one of their subjects tried to stand up to his creators. After losing everything that ever mattered to him in an unjust event. Arsh promised death, to the very guardian of it. As he began his conquest for revenge, he again found himself all alone in an alien, merciless place. Broken by the tragedy of his loss. Arsh desperately seeks power in this accursed world. To exact revenge on the beings, that took everything away from him. Even if they are called Gods. But despite his lifetime worth of suffering. At the end of it all, he only found...... NOTHING. Additional Genre- Mystery and Romance. Discord- https://discord.gg/PavFbUKdRK

A few words from yours truly

<•> Hey guys. I thought I should leave this here as a greeting for new readers. So you guys at least have an idea of what you are getting into, before diving into the unknown.

<•> A gentle reminder- You can get answers to any question regarding the story in the review section.

#) In truth, the first volume of the novel is going to be a little different from usual. The first volume is a massive setup for the future and it mostly contains very important lore and fights. So its pacing is all over the place. The reason is me being relatively new at this. Please bear with it for now. It gets better with future chapters.

I'll probably give that a rewrite in the future too. But for now, it is going to remain the same.

#) The mystery surrounding the novel is my favorite part of writing. So you shouldn't worry about it being a stupid revelation at the end of the story. The mystery will be rewarded properly in the novel. You can be sure of that.

#) Now regarding the main character...

At the start of the novel, he is only 14 so I have written him accordingly to it. Though his character development by the end of the first volume will be of leaps and bounds.

A little spoiler for ahead though- he is going to turn cynical in the future. And he is not overpowered by any standard.

#) Regarding Romance- It will be a bit of a subplot of the novel. Though there will not be too much of it throughout the story. But, No harems. There is going to be only one F.L. throughout the whole story.

#) Ohh! Also!

The reason you should read the novel is in the first 20 chapters. If you like the story by then, it is only going to get a thousand times better both in writing quality and the plot from there on after. But If you completely despise it to its core, by the time you reach the 10th chapter. Then I think this novel might not be the one for you.

#) REGARDING THE STORY--

'This is thinking.'

"This is talking."

[This is talking for a special kind]

<This type of talking is specific>

{This is talking for the narrator}

I know what you guys are thinking. But don't worry. It will not be that much confusing as it looks when you finally start reading the story.

#) Thanks for reading this. If you like the story you can support it with gt, ps, and gifts. Leave a review about your experience too. About what you liked and what you didn't in the novel. It will help me out a lot.

=> This is my first book ever.
