Time skip

It's been a couple of months since Nix agreed to train as a royal guard.

We see Nix and an armored knight, in the training ground.

"So Nix, if you beat me, our training will be done, and you'll set off on your journey."

"Yeah, I'm ready."

The knight tossed a pebble up in the air like usual. When it hit the ground Nix and the knight charged at each other.

Nix swings his scythe upwards at the knight. The knight dodged the blow. But was grabbed by Nix's magic. Pulling the knight towards him, Nix prepared to swing his scythe. But the knight used the momentum to land a punch on Nix's face instead.

With blood coming out of his nose, Nix gritted his teeth and widely swung his scythe. The swings were unpredictable. The only reason no blood was spilled, was because of the armor the knight wore.

Seeing the opportunity, the knight, went down low, and did a sweeping kick, knocking Nix in his back.

Before Nix could get stepped on he sank into the shadows. The knight swung his fist behind him. But that's not where Nix jumped out. Jumping out of the shadow of his scythe, Nix kicked the helmet of the knight off.

"Good job, not many people can knock off my helmet." The knight said.

Nix didn't say anything and got ready to fight again.

This was the right choice because the knight bolted toward Nix. Swinging his sword in a wide arc, toward Nix's head. Nix blocked it with the pole of his scythe. Leaning back Nix dodged the kick aimed at his chest. Twisting his body, Nix grabbed the soldier with the hook of his scythe and kicked him up in the air.

In the air, the knight couldn't do anything except prepare for the blow.

Nix coated his blade in magic. Except instead of getting sharper, it got bigger and not sharp.

Swinging his scythe, Nix hit the guard. The magic on his scythe exploded and sent the guard out of the arena.

The dust settling we can see the knight on his back."Hahaha, I lost! You earned that. Now. You have to prepare. For your next training, you need experience."

Nix breathing heavily. Nodded his head and laughed. Falling on his back Nix said." Finally! I can leave this place! Got tired of seeing the same damn things for so long."

With those words, Nix drifted off to sleep, with a smile on his face.

"Jeez kid, making me carry you again. Well, he deserves a good rest. He was put to hell this month."

We can see Nix at the edge of the Liveria. Looking back, Nix smiles. Walking forward Nix starts his next journey. Who knows where his path will lead?

I've been thinking

I don't know where Nix should go next
