C rank quest

Starting the morning like usual, Nix walks his way to the guild to find a partner.

Nix looks at the different parties recruiting more members. While reading someone taps Nix on the shoulder.

"Hey there, you're searching to team up with someone right?"

Nix turns around to see a bald man. his face has 3 claw marks running diagonally across.

"Yea I'm looking to find someone C rank or higher."

"Well, you're in luck 'cause we're looking for a party member that can distract monsters so the heavy hitters can finish the job."

Nix thinks about the offer before saying."Alright, let's meet your team first before I decide to join or not."

The man nods at Nix and walks over to where the rest of his team was.

A man was wearing a white robe. He had short golden hair and bright yellow eyes. His weapon choice was a mace and a short staff.

The next person was a girl with brown hair tied up in double buns. Her weapon choice was a bow and a dagger.

The last person was a muscular girl with long messy hair and a face that craves a battle. She had a large battle axe as her weapon.

"This is the rest of the party. The healer, the guy in all white is Xeno. Next, the archer of the group and long-range support is Jessica, but we all call her Jess for short. And finally the last one-" Before the bald man could finish introductions, the redhead interrupted him.

"Hey hey, this gonna be our new member?! My name is Tania. Nice to meet ya, newbie!" The now-named woman said excitedly.

"Sorry for her rude introduction. She's just a muscle head who thinks about fighting and getting stronger all the time. Like Bill said my name is Jess, nice to meet you" The archer says.

"No problem. It's better to act friendly to each other since we're gonna fight together." Nix replies.

Xeno walks up to Nix and grabs his hand." Nice to meet you Nix. Like Bill said I am Xeno. If you are injured don't be afraid to tell me."

Seeing this Bill laughs."Hahahaha, I almost forgot to introduce myself. Like they said the names, Bill. And I am the tank of the group."

Nix looks at all of them before saying."My name is Nix. And I am a medium to close fighter. Nice to meet you all."

Tania exclaims"With five party members we can take on the quest to kill an orc now!"

Jess just rolls her eyes and says."Of course, that's the first thing you think of. But what she said was true. We have enough members to take on the quest now."

Bill pulls out the quest paper."We just hand this over then we can start the mission. Everybody ready to start?"

"Yes" Everybody replies.

"Good, now let's go!"

--------------(2 hours later)---------------

The party finally finds the orc.

Bill whispers to everybody.

"OK, first Nix will go in and distract the monster. I will come help you once there's a good opportunity. Tania, you do what you do best. Once you find an opening, charge in and finish the job. Jess. While we are trying to create an opening support us from afar. Xeno. You stay on standby and heal anybody when needed. Everyone understands what they have to do?"

"Yes, sir!"

"Good now let's start."

Nix sinks into the shadows and approaches the orc. Getting behind the orc Nix jumps out and slashes the back of its leg.

The orc loses balance and falls over, letting Bill come in and smash his shield on the orc's face.

The orc takes a wide swing at Bill. Bill blocks the blow but is sent flying away. The orc then swings its other arm at Nix.

Nix ducks below, before swinging his scythe upwards cutting into the orc's shoulder.

Before the orc could take another swing at Nix, it is pelted with arrows. The beast distractedly allows Nix to infuse his scythe with magic and cut off the orc's arm.

"RAAAAHHH" Tania lets out a battle cry while running in.

She swings her axe and beheads the orc.

"Whew, mission-successful guys!" Bill says walking up healed from his injuries.

"Damn Nix I didn't realize that you were that good! We should spar sometime!" Tania says excitedly.

"I'll think about it, but for now we should take the proof of kill and return to the city before it gets too late," Nix says.

----------(1 hour later)-------------

"Here is your 250 gold for completing the quest." The receptionist says.

"Alright, guys! We get 50 gold each! Now let's party!" Bill says happily.

---------(1 hour later)----------

With everyone drunk and their stomachs full, they all walk back to where they rest for the night.

Nix enters his room and falls straight on the bed, falling asleep with a happy smile on his face.
