Princess Kimmy(4)

The next Morning Ariel first went and got a few hours of sleep. Then she told Sister Frances and Brother Robert she would be leaving.

They were very happy that she found a job that would let her leave the shelter.

She then stopped by all her jobs and told them she was sorry but a better job had come up and she could no longer work for them.

Everyone of them wished her luck and said if anything happened she could always come back. This made her feel loved.

Her last stop was Heather's cafe. Heather was delighted she finally got a break and told her not to be a stranger. She also said "If anything is wrong in that house and you need to excape just find me and I'll give them an A** whooping."

Harrison got up early and packed his bag. He had thought about it all night and decided to go alone on this trip. He really did not like spending a lot of time with Sarah. He always felt like he was cheating on Kimberly his wife.

The only reason he tolerates Sarah was for Lily's sake but after what his brother said about a six year old not able to lie he was not sure anymore. Also everytime Sarah got near him she has a way of breaking his thought process.

Before he headed to the airport he called Sarah.

"Hello Darling, What time will you bring Lily over?" She asked.

"I'm not. She threw a big fit last night and I did not want to put that kind of stress on you. Marcus is going to hire a Nanny for her."

Sarah was smiling. She was glad she was not going to have to spend time with that evil brat. "Then do you want me to accompany you on your trip?" She asked.

"No, If you go you will just be bored. I will be in meeting from early morning to late at night. Just rest here and I'll see you when I get back."

"Ok Darling, I'll miss you. Call me later please so I know you made it there all right." She said.

She had worked hard these past few month to get close to this man. She wanted to be the Hostess of the McKenna house and would do anything it takes to achieve it.

She would not let a little baby stand in her way.

Ariel took her bags and headed to the address on the back of the card. It was a gated community and the guard stopped her.

"Miss who are you here to see." He asked.

She took out the card Marcus had given her and handed it to the guard.

"I see just a moment." he went back into the little building and made a call. Soon Marcus and Lily were driving up in a golf cart to get her.

"Ariel you came. I am so so so happy." Lily said

Ariel climbed in and Lily sat upon her lap.

"Sorry, I forgot to tell you about the check in. I have added your name to the resident form so you will have no more trouble coming and going. Let me show you around."

They drove by a few very large homes then pulled up to a lovely Victorian Queen Anne style home with three floors. The outside was done in fine brickwork and crisply-painted white woodwork. The window were stacked one above another. There were also corner towers and a broad porche that went all the way around the home.

Walking in she was in awe of the sweep of steps leading to a carved stone door-case.

Inside she was met with a grand staircase that lead up to the second and third floor.

"Welcome to our humble home." Marcus said.

"Wow, I never thought I would step foot is a house like this." She said.

Marcus chuckled. "This is the foyer. To the left is the livingroom or the sitting room. Not sure what it is really called. That room over there is the sunroom. The library and Den or down that hall along with a bathroom."

He walked to the right. "Down this way is the dining room and through there is a kitchen and breakfast nook. Out back is a garden and play house."

They then walked up to the second floor. "This room is Lily's room and that one to the right is a play room with all her toys. To the left is your room." He opened the door.

It was a huge room with a massive four poster bed. The apartment she had looked at looked like it would fit inside this room with extra space. She even had a huge closet and her own Bathroom with had a sunken Bathtub and a rain shower on the far wall. There was a makeup vanity next to the double sink.

She was living in a dream and wondered when she would wake up.

He then escorted out to continue the tour.

"That big room on the end is my brothers room. and his home office is next to it. My room along with four other guest rooms are upstairs."

"Who cleans all these rooms?" she asked hoping it was not her.

"We have a service in twice a week. They clean everything and even do the laundry. A chef comes in and prepares food that we take out and cook for ourselves. Harrison likes to live with not a lot of bother from staff." Marcus said.

They went to the Kitchen and he pulled out a casserole and placed it in the oven. "Dinner will be ready in about 45 minutes."

Lily then took Ariel out back to see the play house till dinner was ready.

Lily asked a lot of question and Ariel tried to answer the best she could.

"Did your dad get mad at you for being my Nanny?"

"No, when he found out he was happy for me."

"I thought your dad hated humans?"

"He did but since I have so many friends now he has come to trust my judgment in humans."

"Will your fish friends miss you?"

"Yes, but I promised to visit them one in a while."

"How long can you stay human?"

"I don't know for sure. A week at a time I think. That is why I will still work at the aquarium on Friday and Saturday. That way I can have some time being a Mermaid too."

"What kind of games do you like?"

"I really don't know many games but I would love for you to teach me some."

The question went on till Marcus called them in to eat.

After dinner Marcus had Ariel sign employment papers and helped her learn Lily's bedtime routine.

Lily was having fun. It had been a very long time since Marcus seen Lily open up like she has today.

"Uncle Marcus, Thank you for getting Ariel for me. I am very happy. If I ever get a mommy I think I would like her to be as nice as Ariel." Lily said. "Tell me a story about my mother."

Marcus tucked Lily in, "Once upon a time their was a beautiful princess name Kimmy. Everyone in the kingdom was in love with her but she only had eyes for the mean heartless prince Harrison.

Kimmy's best friend was prince Marcus he was so handsome and they met in the royal kindergarten. They would spend every day together for Kimmy loved to do boy things like climb trees and fish. Worms were her best friend and she could always find them.

When Princess Kimmy and Prince Marcus enter Junior high. The cold hearted Prince Harrison moved back from school to start work at the Kings Royal Company.

Kimmy fell in love at first sight and no mater what prince Marcus did he could not get his Kimmy back.

However Prince Harrison finally noticed her when she started high school and feel in love with her. They married right after she graduated and became King and Queen of the land. It did not take long before Queen Kimmy became pregnant with a princess she name Lily.

How ever Kimmy became sick but could not take the life potion for it would kill her baby. So she made Prince Marcus promise to always take care of King Harrison and Princess Lily for her."

Lily loved the story of her mother and after it was over she would dream of her mother and the kingdom they lived in.
