Heading back (75)

Harrison finally got a hold of the the man called O'Sullivan. He had not cone back to his office till late in the afternoon.

"How can I help you?" He asked as Harrison took a seat.

"I am looking for my brother. I was told you took him to look at some land." Harrison asked.

"You must be Marcus's brother. I see the family resemblance. Yes he bought the O'Leary property."

"How can I get there?" Harrison asked.

"I have paperwork to take to him in the morning. You can ride with me if you like."

"I would really like to go now. I'll pay you what ever you ask. It is really important I speak to my brother."

"I guess I could head there tonight. I'll need to let my wife know." He sighed and picked up the phone.

It wasn't long before he and Lily was riding down the road to find Marcus. He was watching the country side go by when he got a call from Harper.

"Hey, found him yet?" Harper asked.

"On my way to the house he bought. Should not be long now."

"Good. We have the ingredients for the antidote but we need something called gorse. A yellow flower found were you are at. Find it and bring some back."

"Ok, I'll see what I can do. I thought there was no hope for a cure that the person who had it died or something." Harrison asked.

"We just thought she died. Turns out it's harder to kill her. Let us know when you find the flower and when you will be returning."

"Sure, now what was that plant again?"

"Grose. I'll send you a pic of it." Harper said then hung up. It was just a second later and a text came through with a piture of the flower.

Harrison asked O'Sullivan about it.

"Yes, it a common bush flower around here but only in the spring time. You won't find any this time of the year." O'Sullivan said.

Harrison was beside himself. Now what.

They pulled up to a cute little cottage and O'Sullivan honked. Marcus came out of the barn with Maggie's son. He had just learned how to milk the cow.

He smiled as he walked over and then he saw a cute little redhead jump out of the car and run into his arms.

"Uncle Marcus, I missed you."

He swung her around, "Red, I missed you to. What are you doing here?"

Harrison got out and walked over to his brother. "Came to find a runaway. We need to talk."

"Come in. O'Sullivan thanks for bringing them." Marcus said.

"No problem. I have the paperwork for the place all ready. I'll just leave them here. I need to get back to the miss's."

"Sure, Harry come in and take a load off and tell me why you decided to go against my wishes and track me down." Marcus said heading into the house.

"We found Ariel, she is alive but really sick. She needs you and a flower called a Grose." He handed his phone to Marcus so he could look at the information.

"This will cure her?" He asked.

"There are a number of ingredients but this is one."

"I have the flower. I found it in the pantry. Seems Mrs. O'Leary like to make tea out of it. Also can you tell me if Ariel is pregnant?"

"I don't really know. You can call and ask one of your brothers." Harrison said.

Marcus looked at the phone. To be honest with himself he was a little afraid to call. He closed his eyes and opened up the phone app. He hit the name Commander Jason Jones. It rang a few times.

"Did you find him yet?" JJ asked.

"Yes, he found me. Did you really find Ariel?"

"Yes, brother we did. Would you like to talk to her?"

"Yes" He heard some movement and a door opening. 'I have Richie on the phone. He want to talk to you.' 'Ok'

"Hello, Marcus." Her voice sounded fragile.

"Hey my Mermaid. How are you?" He asked.

"I would be better near you. I missed you."

"Ariel, I need to know are you pregnant?"

There was a silence on the phone. Then a soft voice came over, "I am so sorry. I am so sorry." His heart broke at the sound of her voice but the next thing said was.

"Bro, I don't know what that was about but she went running out of here with a face full of tears." Harper said.

"She is really pregnant by another man?"

"No, by super sperm. The man doctor was trying to make a super smart kid. Then he poisoned them all. We tried to talk her out of having them but she said no."

"Them, then there are twins. Both boys?"

"We don't know the sex but they are identical twins. How did you know?" Harper asked.

"I'll explain when I get there. Find Ariel and give her back the phone." Marcus asked.

Harper could be heard walking around. Doors opening and closing. He could be heard talking to people before Marcus heard, 'Ariel, He needs to talk to you again.'

"Hello"

"My lovely Mermaid, please do not think I am mad. These two will be our children. Please believe me. I will love them as much as our own children. They will love growing up at the place I got for us to live. I love you and never want to lose you. I'll be back within the next three days. Hang on my love."

Ariel softly cried at the sweet sound of his voice. He did not hate her at all. She could not say anything just handed Harper back the phone.

"Dude, What now?" He asked.

"She will be fine. We will be there in three days. I need to make arrangements for my animal's care. Keep her safe for me and my boys. Can I talk to Heny and Mickey?"

"Sure just a moment." 'You going to be alright? Just have someone call if you need anything.'
